Get your 3DS properly ready. Create a Mii, start Swapnote, go to the friends center (top center of home menu).
Then you can register friends etc.
You may also want to consider planning out a town name, character name, face, and hair color.

Maybe if VC in 3DS wasn't a thing, but now that Nintendo has tasted that cow's milk they're gonna want a lot more. $_$
How exactly do I get it. I have had many notes with stationary but when i go to write a new note its not there?
I think you have to unlock it by sending around 5 notes (maybe more I forget), then it should be in the menu where you can also add photos, etc.

A cool idea that I had thought about back when City Folk came out, was that if you had VC games on your Wii, you could get an item to play them in AC. Like I have SMB, so I can buy/earn an item in the game to show off and so I can play it right there in AC instead of going back to the home menu and launching it there. It isn't as cool as being able to get free NES games, but I would still appreciate it.
Well we could all have every fruit that way.
It's going to be fun visiting over a dozen towns.

Have you guys seen the creepy (dream) town a japanese player created? It's pretty great.. I hope it'll still be around when the english version is out.

That's cool how it tells a story, hopefully people will make more themed dream towns to visit.
When the OT happens near release, there probably will be one.

By the way, I'm not sure if this has been asked yet, but is there still grass deterioration/animal tracks in New Leaf?
OT will def have one. I hope at least a month or two after release Nintendo will have NNID and Miiverse on 3DS so we won't need them anymore.

Well, like I said, I just did what SalsaShark did. lol.
EDIT: I'm not sure what Zenosaga is so probably not. I started using this name since I created my first account on 360 at launch. People couldn't pronounce Hoshi Kariudo (Star Hunter in some form of Japanese...supposedly...) saying stuff like "Hashi Carry U Doh" and I was like ugh lol. But I've been happy with being called Lucent for 8 years now. =D

Yeah I don't like how that works. They coulda just made it free for the Ambassadors but allow others to buy it. Much like how the Four Swords was only available for a limited time and then taken down. I'm guessing their store can only hold so much?
