Forcing people to pay to correct mistakes in their service like auto-updates and trophy sync doesn't sound like they've learnt many lessons to me.

App situation won't be the same. MS have been building their catalogue of apps up over the last two years and have probably more than 50 apps right now. By comparison the apps on PS3 can be counted on one hand. They've got a lot of work to do to catch up with the XBL App ecosystem.

And if that is how you see PS+'s utility starting and ending, then there is really nothing to discuss any further.

As for apps, yes, MS are in a better position. Question is whether in the long run they can remain far head enough to justify whatever price they may charge.

I want specifications details. I think that they'll be vague with spec details
I want more variety in games than shooters. We'll probably see PGR5
I want at least three games shown - don't care if we've seen them before. I'm expecting 3 or 4 games
I want little to no Kinect information. Save it for E3. Not happening. This is a hardware presentation and Kinect 2.0 is an important part of that.
I want to see the console and controller. 100% chance of this.
I want to hear about their new OS. The OS and the services that surround it will be a central focus.
I want to hear about how they are revolutionizing Xbox Live. We will definitely see this.

Regarding VGLeaks.
How come is that we "trust" these so much as being real?

For example, from "who" does these come from? According to Edge and VGLeaks, they come from "reliable" sources, but what can or who can that be?

Because, one thing that has been crazy obvious is the amount of secrecy and security MS has implemented regarding Durango. I worked/did work for MS during the OG XBox era and I still know some people within the company and it is impossible to get any info from them.

So therefore im amazed that for example superDAE could come over a dev-kit by some social hacking and the whole debacle around it..

Im telling you, the amount of security MS has implemented is SCARY/CRAZY..
But then suddenly, we have Durango-roadmaps, diagrams, devkits.. the works.
And after that, nothing! Its tight again.

So are we supposed to think that MS got sloppy, stuff got leaked and then they tightened the security and nothing comes out anymore? Hmm...

I really don´t know what to think anymore.
The specs could be true, but it can also be a diversion, which is also a possibility.

So, less than one day left.. and soon we will know.
But im saying, there are many strange things going on here. Everything regarding the leaks.. fishy stuff..

I definitely think I will be there Day 1 if/when illumiroom becomes a reality. As impractical as it is; I think it would be worth it for just the experience. Now here is hoping that MS or Sony add oculus rift support and I'll be in unnecessary gadget heaven (note: not a PC gamer so need the consoles to come through for me.

Great episode.

One thing that sounds really interesting is when they talk about the Heroes show potentially get a revival, and how there's a whole studio in LA devoted to TV content it seems. While Heroes could be good, what I'm really hoping for is them to create TV shows based off their games.

They already made a Halo movie (Forward Unto Dawn, and you can find it on Netflix), but if they made like an Alan Wake TV series, a Perfect Dark movie or shows based off some of their new IP's, I would be so in. I'd guess that their Heroes show is a relatively safe bet to kick it off, but at the same time they're probably working on tons of original show ideas.

I generally agree with you except I think they will a bit about Kinect 2. It will also be there at E3 but that press conference will be a more game centric one.

As for the spec, I think its fine as it is, relative to the ps4. I don't expect a spec bump really but among the ones floating around, I think 12gb ddr3 looks more likely solely because the devkit already have it. Still, I don't really see the point in that as, to really take advantage of the increase, it would need to increase the bandwidth so.....

Anyway, lets see what Tuesday bring.

COD: Ghosts is a cross-gen game with a next-gen up-port. It won't even come near KZ:SF.

I don't really see the logic in that. CoD on consoles so far compared to something like Killzone 3 is laughable. Regardless of it being smooth.
