No, it's just the advertisement they've been using to promote the event. The real logo and all that will be unveiled inside, like all the other information about the console. I think at least that, is pretty obvious.

yeah... because they worked so hard to keep everything secret to leak the branding on their own fucking reveal tent.

if there is a change (or not) the outside of the tent is not where we will find out.

How is it a poor argument, exactly?

I mean, I am basing my prediction on prior established facts (the technical specifications and performance of the original Xbox and Xbox 360), versus unconfirmed rumors by videogame websites with less than stellar reputations for journalistic integrity and accuracy.

Furthermore, Microsoft has the money to continue their established pattern of releasing a next generation game console that is at least as powerful (possibly more) than any competitor. If any console manufacturer would be under financial pressure to go "light" on the specs, it would have been Sony...and thankfully, that did not happen.
 
Microsoft need to take a long break from Halo, about 3 years. What I found amazing about Halo 1-3 was the universe and that sense of exploration and mystery. Halo 4 had non of that. And then there's the music. Don't get me started on pre-H4 music.

That too. Not many people think about it, but Bungies contract probably had them locked down for two more games, hence why they got ODST and Reach done a year apart from each other. Not to say they were rushed as they turned out extremely fun, but you can kind of feel that Bungie was getting bored of Halo.

I wasn't even interested enough to finish it all the way through, but I want to go back and do that some day. I also think Halo 4 is the best Halo yet, but not for the MP. I think so due to the SP. I enjoyed it a great deal more than I have other Halo titles, as controversial as that may be. I really don't like Halo's MP much, if at all. I get Halo titles just for the SP. ODST: I simply wasn't all that excited by it. It simply didn't excite me enough for me to want to play it. I also always saw it as a blatant quick cash in title that wasn't deserving of my money, and I still feel that way even today.

it will be laughed out, right after microsoft verifies that no stupid policies are planned like orth suggested.
still one of the more important aspects of the rumor mill, much more important than spec wars.

but I agree, orth is out of the picture now. he will be relevant only if microsoft fucks up with the policies.
