Can't wait for a regional xbox page to update early ruining everything.

42 tabs open all refreshing. hahahaha!

Would like to know that too, have streamed several movies on 360 though and it was mostly a very good experience, but live stream is another beast I guess.

Streaming on 360 has been very good historically. Quality will be better most big sites however there's usually a little delay.

Is this a new shot from the campus?

Looks like a nice day, unfortunately for MS it'll likely be raining during the event according to current weather predictions. Not good for an event held in a big tent, that rain noise!

0800-1400: Heavy Rain!
David Cage making an appearance? :)

Ack! Can't wait, if it's good then hooray for gaming goodness, if it's bad then gaf will be a hilarious source of entertainment, I can't lose.

Also we're guaranteed to get at least 3 or so next gen sneak peaks, and that's really what I want, I don't care if they're exclusive, I want to see some next gen visuals.

I think the tent is two layered, with a wood roof beneath the tarp to drown some of that out. I'm just happy MS decided to have the local event at a hotel here, so that won't be a issue for me.

If there's a PGR and it's not a launch title, Microsoft cocked up. It's the only franchise they have that is closely associated with the launch of the platform, and as a sign of understanding and valuing long time fans, having PGR on day 1 just makes sense.

It's not that it's made entirely redundant by releasing it apropos of nothing next year or something, but as a "statement" it's diminished.

Microsoft isn't (that) awesome. They need all the blockbuster first party racer they can get, just like Sony needs Drive Club AND GT6

My spell check detected a few typos in your post and fixed them.

OMG !
OMG !
OMG !

Ok, yes...sending PGR to die again by Microsoft's own hand isn't really the best decision, but fuck it, i'm buying both.
And GT6.
And DriveClub.

Man, i really have to build that racing cockpit in my garage during the summer.

OMG, can't wait.
(Badned said Forza Motorsport 5 won't happen today, though)

sucks for Lucid Games if true though.

Serious question: Will they even bother with Japan this time?

If I have NFS:U (a Criterion reboot), PGR5, GT6, AND DC this fall I'm going to lose my mind.

Did PGR4 sell well?

Serious question: Will they even bother with Japan this time?

Was asked a lot in the first thread.

To answer, yes. A considerable amount of people who buy Japanese orientated games don't live in Japan, in some cases a majority. That and even a small Japanese userbase is profitable.

MS only released the 360 in my home country Israel in 2012 (!) but it's worth it even for a small boost in Xbox Live subscriptions etc.

Did PGR4 sell well?

Yeah, eventually.

It's a beloved series by a significant fanbase, so it's an easy way to shift some consoles and save Forza for later.

I can imagine MS showing a sizzle reel full of games to keep us busy discussing which clip belongs to which game until E3.

it was launched on the same day as halo 3, with zero marketing. so no, it didnt. that the reason why bizarre wanted to get away from microsoft.

Wasn't Viva Pinata released on the same day as Gears of War as well?

Edit: Or was that Gears of War 2 and Nuts & Bolts
