Would people be down for a Heavenly Sword 2? I thought most didn't like the first.

I didn't buy the first because if I remember correctly there was some stupid non intuitive block system. Really think Sony should exploit this IP though, especially as GoW seems to be getting stale.

The experience they have gathered since the HS days in the action genre would make a night and day difference.
It's more a question if Sony is interested in investing in something they abandoned in first place. Which I doubt...so who knows...it might also be something new.

Didn't they try to make a Heavenly Sword game themselves though internally?

HS was largely if not mostly done with the help of Sony Cambridge. If anything it is more their IP then NT. Sony did cancel HS2 by Sony Cambridge and imo it was good call, spend money on more original and innovative games.

There was a rumor about Cambridge developing a sequel internally, I don't know if it was ever confirmed.
Ninja Theory said they had already developed the concept for the sequel but Sony did not renew the relationship with them and the rest is history.

Speaking of Square, what are the chances of seeing their Western offerings?

Thief is pretty much confirmed. For Tomb Raider and Deus Ex it seems a bit early.

Ah okay yeah I think they did try to do it internally the concept art leaked and the Ninja Theory guy said that it wasn't Ninja Theory artwork at the time.

I wouldn't be surprised seeing it due to that twitter observation I posted a couple pages back and seeing Ninja Theory in the conference trailer which I though was pretty random.

Even better. Reviving any IP from the PS1 era is a win in my book.

This would be so awesome.

I just want some JRPGS this time around that were not terrible like FF13 and co.
Sony pls.

Perhaps Xenoblade has spoiled me....

my sony e3 wishlist would be
tlg
ffxversus
no used games fee at all of any kind
no always online/1 hour per day bullshit

Minds would bend if Demons Souls 2 is announced (even as a small teaser) with in-engine renders.

Also, expecting to see TLG.

I really wonder Sony are gonna deal with the used game thing. It seems like they have two options:

Either they let MS have exclusivity to the functionality of installing games onto the console and being able to play them without the disc or they join MS with the code and fee system.

..Unless they come up with a third option but I can't imagine what they could possibly do :S

Don't worry. :)

PS4 makes me feel excited about TGS13. I want some real next gen jrpgs and Gundam VS on my vita. As for E3, I am most looking forward to the guerilla game (The Order 1886?) and the please be excited game from SE. Heck, all the big guns you can imagine will be pretty sick.

If they show Uncharted 4, Agent and TLG along with those previously known titles (Infamous/Killzone/GT6/Diablo/Destiny/Driveclub etc.), it will probably be way overkilled. I expect some stuff will end up being shown in Gamescom, to keep the hype going.

I think people are putting too much stock in that. Those 15 exclusives are first/second party games. 8 of them new IPs - but again it wasn't said if they'll be Kinect based, download based, or whatever.

For third parties, people have hinted at Fallout 4, Dead Rising 3 and Titan.

Those are huge announcements you know, especially megatons like Fallout 4 and Titan.

Shocked because they would decide not to or because they wouldn't have anything concrete to show yet?

because they would decide not to.

No that would be a very bad thing for Bethesda. I wish they would crash and burn on something. And I would love for it to be some exclusive dickery that finally punches them right in the face.

Fallout 4 is the only title that I would cry for if it was an Xbone exclusive. But being a full exclusive makes no sens to me because it didn't sell too much better on 360 than it did on PS3. If it was a timed exclusive though I think I'd be okay. Titan, Dead Rising 3, and the other rumored games I can live without if they were exclusive.

Sony should do 2 conferences one 2 hour showcase for PS4 that will include media, explanation about PSN sub tiers, OS etcc and of course games. And a second one hour conference to cover the PS3 and Vita.

I'm convinced Titan already is but I don't think it's going to be a big deal at all.

Titan is a huge deal. It´s made by ex COD employees. It will be marketed to hell and back by both EA and MS.
Fallout 4 is a huge fucking deal IMO and I'll be seriously pissed if they go exclusive after this generation.

It´s a huge deal for RPG crowed in the west.

Has Fallout been mentioned anywhere other than speculation? I know myself and others have been speculating on it for a while but I haven't seen anything concrete.

Apparently, Patrick from GiantBomb has heard that Fallout 4 will be an exclusive for Xbox One, and they might announce it at the E3 press conference.

Fallout 4? Not really. Sony can make do without. An exclusive Elder Scrolls would be titanic though.

I will never buy another Bethesda game for the rest of my life... so exclusives wouldn't affect me in any way. But if they do go exclusive with Fallout or TES, it would just further demonstrate the kind of company they are.

What's Titan? Blizzard's next MMO after WoW?

Also, I'm a little torn on Fallout 4 if it becomes an Xbone exclusive. On one hand, I enjoyed 3, and would be devestated that it'll be exclusive this generation on the console. On the other hand, I look at how Bethesda has treated Sony gamers this generation, and I think to myself, "Good riddance." And on the OTHER hand, I'm just glad that it's a Bethesda Fallout and not a Fallout made by Obsidian again (if Bethesda ever let them do that again).

So torn.

Just do what I would do and play it on PC.

I'd actually prefer to buy Bethesda games on PC. But given how often I play on my PC, I'm more likely to avoid Bethesda games because they just seem generally boring.

I still can't believe at one point Skyrim was running on the 80 inch screen at the Toronto Playstation Lounge where only the best games get placed. It was only replaced until Twisted Metal came in.

On the other hand, I think I will avoid platinum games for a while. Not because of the mess that was bayonetta on PC which led to the reputation the PS3 had with most multiplats, or the whole FF13 multiplat situation where the sequel went exclusive to WiiU. The real reason was how much of a mediocre game Vanquish was. I finally traded it in for $4 yesterday. No regrets. I'll give it another shot when my backlog clears up and I'm really bored but I'd be more willing to get shovelware like Hamster Ball and Inferno Pool out of the way first before I touch Vanquish. The game seemed soulless, which was the exact opposite of what I saw from the gifs people spammed and plastered everywhere.

An epic trailer premiers at the Xbox E3 conference. It's a new Elder Scrolls game, and it is a massive sight.

Then we see the title fade in: Elder. Scrolls.

...Online.

Would be great if all of the XBOne negativity has Bethesda quaking in their boots if they've made an exclusive deal. They're a horrible company that deserves to go down with the ship if it indeed does sink.
