Not only is Xbone an appropriate expression of the general distaste for what they're trying to do with the console right now, but it's also the easiest and clearest shorthand for Xbox One.

Yeah. I mentioned this earlier. It's funny now because almost everyone is downbeat/angry about the conference. So almost nobody is taking offense to it. But once everyone aligns back in their camps, it's gonna become a real issue. And go the way of some other unflattering terms that only raise people's BP.
