You need to play the game for a certain amount of days and hours. To get the biggest tree, you need to have been playing for 500 days and put in at least 500 hours during that time. That's a lot of days! There are lots of growth stages in between, too, like a stage for 5 days with 5 hours, and 20 days with 20 hours, etc.

Silly tumblr pic aside, did I ever tell you why Roscoe is my favorite AC townperson?

My girlfriend and I used to play Hide & Seek using the timer on City Folk and I had to look all over the place for her. Almost giving up with time almost ending, I entered Roscoe's house to find her laying in Roscoe's bed.

At first I yelled at Roscoe for somehow getting my girlfriend in his bed, but then I joined her, and laid in Roscoe's bed with her.

We laid there for a few minutes while Roscoe watched the whole thing. He just watched us. He didn't say a word.

He might have videotaped it. So. He is my bro.
 
I always think of MasterBalls as an old man, mostly because of the John Hurt avatar.

I don't have a 3DS and I reaaally really want to play AC !!! I wonder if I should take the bundle with new leaf ? It's a fair price but I wonder if the XL is the best version... also because the 3DS is white that it's gonna look dirty after like a year...

Also if the game got pre-installed, if , for exemple, i loose to my 3DS (like I lost my DS :( ), will I loose my game with the console as well ?

Nah, its the running over flowers thing. It'd appear very innocent but its not for an inspiring gardener that had a massive set up of hybridization.

In a full run, you can cause flowers to wilt faster.

The notion is that we should be able to do exactly that and not worry. The desire for a safe community is high here. I'm sure offenders will quickly be blacklisted, mind. I know I'd be removing someone who has had reports about them destroying an entire town's flowers, say.

My friends and I had a strict "No Running" policy when visiting other towns for this alone. Also, then you don't scare bugs away, so it's a win win.

Get it. I hadn't played handhelds since I traded in my original DS shortly after I got it (dumb poor college kid), and bought a 3DS XL on a whim when they first came out. I absolutely love it. It's such a great system, with great games. If you can afford it, go with the AC one.

Same here...you guys have made me paranoid now. I'm really into the hybrid flower thing. My WW town had more rare flowers in it than regular ones

You should be. The uploaded spreadsheet had been messed with several times over. So we have a troll here.

Anyway, I'm more concerned that if you added someone like Sats and your kid read some of HER lewd notes and be uh... mind assaulted inappropriately because you just wanted your kid to have fun with AC. I can understand. We're all adults here... I HOPE, but that doesn't mean its safe for your kid all the same.

Online content is never safe with a kid under 13 imho.

Actually, this is kind of interesting because my 10-year-old daughter will play eventually... just not in my town.

When we did Wild World and City Folk I was super-cautious with friends because I knew residents would hop towns, potentially bringing offensive catchphrases and letters and designs and such. Now I know she's 10 and probably hears worse on the schoolyard and is smart enough to go complain to town hall, but it's still something I think about a little.

(P.S. I'm 36! BEAT THAT)

Man, I would love to be at the World Store when a popular game comes out. Would be so many streetpasses and puzzle pieces.

Of course you do need to think a little bit about animals hopping towns. Like I said re my daughter, I'm pretty sure I'll be catching the foul-mouthed bastards and reforming them before they cross over to yet another town, and if something slips, she knows to deal with it appropriately too. But it's still in the back of my mind.

When I first played the Cube one, I thought it was funny to make an animal say things like "willy" and "balls". I imagine I'll be a little more creative now.
 
I only have 10 spots left on my FL, but they are reserved for people that are getting the poptart XL!

Sats has quite the fan club... so many people changed their online status to mention that they're a fanboy, or mentioning "lewd leaf". :P

Y'know, I've only recently upgraded to an XL, and I still end up freaking myself out with that 2 level hinge snap...

I think my last 2 DS Lite's have been super weary now.
