Does anyone else think we are going to get an inevitable trailer or gameplay demo of The Last of Us since it releases only 3 or 4 days after this press conference? With it releasing that close to E3, you would think that Sony would want to give that game every last ounce of attention they can.

(Which is sort of what they did for inFamous 2 two years ago.)

Actually, I am quite hyped and expecting at least 1 Megaton we know nothing about. Jet Moto would lend itself well to the Next Generation!

His comment is one reason why they have to change the name. Too many people think that it has a heavy connection to XIII when it doesn't.

I thought it was like the FFX situation... and how they turned the battle mechanic into some dress-up games. (never played them)

First time I'm hearing it's its own thing. I guess I just hated FFXIII so damn much (especially coming off the best FF of all time in FFXII) that any and all hype was instantly killed and I never sought out information on the game after that.

I guess I have to go dig up this two year old trailer...

I won't miss this conference, if it does indeed run for 2 hours it should finish (without a delayed start) at 4am and I need to get up at 4:45am for work.

So I can either sleep through EA and Ubisoft (after watching MS)
Or just take the 11th off work.

Think I should go with plan B on this.

This. Kojipro has been all about fox engine. A multiplatform initiative. I'd expect whatever he makes to be on both consoles, if its not exclusive to sony that is.

I think we haven't heard about multiplayer because is free to play. With some of the new ps4-like features, theyve added to it...I'm now starting to think that at least the mp will be available for ps4.

I'm also on a media blackout of the game but I wouldn't put it past Sony to do something like that for their conference, even if it is just a trailer that is 2 minutes long.

Not a bad idea at all. I think it is almost a guarantee that GAF will be down for at least some of the conference if the Xbox One reveal last week and the PS4 reveal in February is anything to judge by.

Dave Perry was talking about how Sony greenlit an entirely new network that the Gaikai team was building. I think they currently hold the guiness record for the worlds fastest network built to date according to what he said at the PS Meeting in feb.

They did not go into a ton of detail though.

he was in the Wii developer reel too. Not saying anything by that, but reels are bullshit.

The first conference (Microsoft) starts at 2am, Sony will then wrap up the last conference for the day at 11am. Fortunately I don't have university that day...

Doubt ill be able to sleep till 2 then wake up.. Tried it two years ago, woke up, said to myself I'll sleep for an extra 5 minutes, woke up a few hours later and missed a few conferences...

Yeah Gaikai had a plan for that network since 2009/2010. I don't remember who, but a Joystiq editor at the time was told about said plan and how excited Perry was about it.

Now a few years it will become a reality.
