Wow tonight is awesome for vita. Rayman legends vita, toukiden and meruru english release, and confirmation for yakuza vita in development. I hope this one come to the west eventually.

Does the fps match the consoles? It honestly looks like it might. Either way, my wallet will cry with impotent rage come September.

Well you don't even know for sure 60fps do you? I'm assuming it will be both 60fps and native res, but a small part of me is worried.
Well enough to warrant another game yeah. I'm pretty sure it's been well discounted as well at some point.
PS+ in a few weeks should do wonders for the EU ratings as well.
Man. Reality is a tough opponent to beat.

I haven't been following the game, but from the trailer posted it looks pretty much the same but with a lovely coat of paint.

Devkits are different from regular Vitas. Regular vitas don't have hdmi out.
That was my point, they already have it implemented, the reasons for not having it on consumer units are not technical.

Not at all, no. Easily my most regrettable Vita purchase. Even more so than Mortal Kombat
It's an expanded version with new enemies, bosses, locations, weapons, skills, random dungeons, and more.

What did you expect as you went in, out of curiosity? It's fun, challenging (very challenging in some places, if you're looking to go for 100%) and beautiful.

I think I'm finally going to bite on this. I've been wanting a fishing game on Vita and this is pretty much it, so. Plus, platinum trophy!
My understanding is that it's an enhanced version, but here's a blurb from siliconera:
"The game is a refined version of Ragnarok Odyssey, and will contain all the DLC from the original game, as well as an extra episode after the ending."
It also has that final game tower that is like a randomized dungeon? I really need to finish the original though, I want to platinum it. Is anyone still playing RO?

I didn't care for Rayman Origins as well, but I can appreciate that other people like it. Ragnarok seems like people are choosing the wrong game entirely if you want to play something from that genre.
I tried Ragnarok's demo and almost puked. I don't usually play demos, glad that I did that one time.

OMG. I am pleasantly surprised by Toukiden getting localized. Good news.
It's arguably the best looking game for Vita, and plays pretty well too (if you are into that genre).

At the time, I was anticipating it to be like Phantasy Star, or something similar. I didn't find the combat enjoyable at all. The lack of leveling system is dumb IMO. It's all based on gear, but not done well like Monster Hunter.
This is why i need a DeLorean
Haven't played RO since I platinumed it, sorry Schobeleth. Also got my last 5 cards (end game bosses) from some random guy as thanks for scanning some pages of the artbook that came with it so I can't near those ones away. No one seems willing to give up end game boss cards for free, unless you're really lucky. Hopefully RO Ace has no card trophy.

Not sure if I should feign hope for a physical release of Meruru.
It's especially frustrating not only due to my reservations about digital-only games, but that Atelier games are the -least- suited games for DD only. It's something you can beat, not endless (ala Life sims), you can't leave it on your card to play whenever (because it's an ungodly 3GB), and it has such nice artwork I'd love to have a box for..
Again wishing for a compromise: Vita case with a Memory Card slot and a download card inside. Download the game onto a spare 4GB, put it in the case. Pseudo-physical copy! Anyone?
