Nice, I can't wait for your coverage of XV.Btw, I love the hype you are generating for versus on Nova Crystallis but Ehren comes and ruins everything :P. I know he/she is passionate and loves FF but he/she is too short tempered :P(No offense meant at all)

:lol Yeah it's pretty funny watching the XIII fans come to hate on the parade.

I dont knowif its acceptable, but can you post where we can expect to find those interviews?Im not familiar with what site you work for if any.

I would be very interested in the Japanese publisher opinions on the DRM issues, as there seems to be a belife that it could have a real potential to do damage to the Japanese gaming market especially for PS4.

Check my profile :)

thank you .

can you say who your main "targets" are ? or any specific developer?

Looks like I'm lined up for some interviews with Japanese people for the most part. Have a Witcher 3 thing as well.

Yep, they tried to expand the audience which is why they were happy to side with MS at the time.

When are companies going to realize that when you have your core audience, and you try to appeal to a different audience, it almost never works out. The number 1 thing that is most likely to happen is that you will piss off your original, core fanbase. It's happened to so many games / game franchise that I have played that it's down right stupid at this point. Hopefully Square as figured that out.

I don't know, it's like they aren't even human.

I don't know how a bunch of business dudes can be so out of touch with their business.

Man, I really want to see Jak & Daxter 4 already. We did get Sly Cooper 4 eventually, so here's hoping.

And a mainline Ratchet & Clank on the PS4 as well. That goes without saying.

Don't hold your breath. Balestra was in Paris recently and gave a 2 hours interview session in which one of the guys in the public asked him about a possible J&D similarly themed title; Balestra, while not totally dismissing such a venture in some futur time, insisted that the probabilty of it was quite low. He did however almost blush, presenting a smiling face, when faced with a query on their presence at the E3 conference.
I think that an Uncharted is the works...

I'm no insider, just conjecture.
Oh, I forgot, in another interview he gave in Paris on the Last of Us, the journalist evoked the case of some"mysterious characters on the screen of an ND artist (I don't know what he was talking about). Balestra threw a very calibrated answer, justifying it by the fact that artists at ND are always researching new concepts, trying different stuff...you know, the kind of reply you would expect from a guy not willing to talk about projects still unannounced.
If I were to make a guess, I'd say we could have an Uncharted with the original Sir Drake.

I would like that, but who knows. Even if they are making one, maybe they wont announce it this year.

So lets say we have some great games that make an appearance, such as a new Uncharted, KZSF, Drive Club

We could then have stunning new IP's, that leave us wanting more

But what games could be shown, perhaps existing IP's, maybe exclusive to PS4, that could truly be a wow moment? a good catch?

Looking forward to watching the conference live, and excited to see what PS4's first year has in store

sounds like Insomniac. Especially is if it is true that they are making xbonita exclusive.
Insomniac was very respected by PS community if you go back a couple of years ago. Like it or not when they announced Fuse that "love" cooled down a bit. You don't see comments "I wonder what Insomniac is making for PS3(or now PS4)" as we once did.

Honestly, i'm not so sure about that now. I've been completely convinced that they were working on Uncharted 4, but then I saw this

"I'd like to say no, we don't care that we're known as the Uncharted Studio. But to be honest, we do. To us, we want to throw ourselves onto a new, frightening challenge and come out the other side, knowing that we've conquered these things.

"With this new project, Sony has backed us all the way. Back at the start, when we explained we have a post-pandemic game that stars a fourteen year-old girl, Sony said if that's what you want then we'll support it. During development I was waiting for someone to come in and say, you have to cut this from the game, this goes too far. But Sony didn't. They gave us this freedom, and I feel there's a responsibility on us to make the most of that."

I think it's entirely possible that they're working on another new IP.

That would be really nice, I don't need any more Uncharted. Bring it back a bit later once ND really works the PS4 to the core, and then we can see how much the series can develop - any time in the next few years is too soon. They should try something different; psychological horror, RPG, adventure puzzle game etc, anything would be good!

You are the same guy, who said something about your friend mentioning how the Xbone was more powerful than PS4.

Your credibility = 0

Have you heard of this game called Last of Us?
I hear it may be kind of neat.

Yes... and I'm not that interested in LoU. ND needs to take another shot at platformers, RPGs, or hybrid genres. Action/Adventure is something that I'll get plenty of on the PS4 from MANY other developers.

Edit:

I'm not saying I don't like Uncharted or that genre. I love it! But I feel we're getting too many action/adventure games. I wish more developers would explore different genres.

A new Uncharted reveal during the SNE conference would be awesome. I can't get enough of those games. 1-2-3, all are great, 2 being the best. NEXT GEN UNCHARTED FTW

I love Uncharted. Unlike a lot of people, I loved Uncharted 3.

But I think Naughty Dog should make a new IP for the console, and maybe let the TLOU team make the next Uncharted after they take a nice vacation.

Sony really REALLY needs to bring the third party love this E3.
Everyone knows that the first party will be there.
We have seen it, they have seen it and we know who they are and we know what they do and we know the names and the characters and that they will be locks.
It is like Nintendo showing Mario or Link.
We know that they will be there but they will not sway the consumers in a console war.
People need to see that the third parties are here, and that they will be here otherwise it is no better than the Wii U with better hardware and more self respect.
SO here is hoping that they have learned this.

Uncharted 4 introduction with the main theme for PS4 would send shivers down my spine. I don't care if people say Uncharted is boring. It would be 3 years since the last console installment.

a new Uncharted would be goddamn spectacular. They keep getting better every single game somehow!

True, but i rather have this game in 2015 or 2016. Maybe they should expand even more to three teams, one does Uncharted, one does new IP's and the other does Last of Us/other ND IP's.

Just some ideas... i know they always try new IP's, but i think Uncharted it's just too good of a franchise to let it go like this.
