it's easy to import. this is no atlus game.
Freak incident with Phoenix Wright aside, a lot of these games are ones that are normally DD titles anyway. If anything you can make a bigger case about how many of these games probably could've or should've gone to retail period, at least as an option.
What's the release date on this? Gonna have to import. Hope it includes English like Okami HD did. I have the games on Saturn but the loading pause when you switch characters when you die is dreadful. Also only 2-player.

I like how pretty much all of the Japanese box arts make the games look desirable, yet the Western ones are just like "This is a video game, you are dude and you shoot stuff".
That's just the audience they're trying to appeal to.
Your "typical" consumer isn't going to want to purchase a game with a colorful cover and different styled characters, because it's distant to their tastes. Making covers similar to shooters and the like gets them to buy "new" games.

Female anime characters wear absurdly short skirts but always sit in a manner that blatantly hides the utmost vulgarity. Always bothered me. Wear a longer skirt or some pants madam.
Of course that was said in a joking manner acknowledging the "because Japan" philosophy.

Maso Kishin on Super Famicom (ported on DS and PSP) is one of the most beloved SRT ever.
