What type of game is Kaidan?
Kaidan is a solo or co-op PvE extraction-lite game. It features brutally intense PvE combat, high-stakes, risk-reward gameplay, and strategic roster management.
Is there multiplayer?
Yes! Brave the nightmares solo or team up with up to 3 friends to help you."

I guess you've been tired all your life of medieval settings since that's basically feudal Europe lol.

This one looks great BTW, if I can play solo.
I mean Japan feudal samurai whatever setting is a trend and is everywhere. Even when i see a game that i want to love like Onimusha, i struggle to get excited because we've seen this kind of setting so much lately.
For example Valor Mortis is another soulslike but the simple fact that has a french setting made it stand out since soulslike look is so overused right now.

Japanese feudal age has always been normal in japenese media, the only thing changing is Japanese stuff being the norm these days for entertainment and other Asian countries just following to try and eat from their success
