Yeah I can't think of a betrayalton either unless he's thinking of Insomniac exclusive game for Xbone and maybe something by Epic exclusive on PS4.
I doubt Epic will do anything exclusively for Sony.

Yea, I figured that. However, if you had to take it away, it shouldn't be the percentage (because 10% of 1.23 is less than 10% of 1.84) rather exact figure, i.e. about 123GFlops. So it'd be about 1.71TF.

Unless a prominent supporter of the PS3 this gen (like Jenova Chen/thatgamecompany) is going totally pro-MS, I can't think of anything else that would even come close to a 'betrayalton'.
Even if it was an example like TGC, I can't imagine many people being too bitter with Chen. His team made three brilliant games for PSN and, as an small company, they are obviously trying to spread themselves out more.
It certainly looks like SONY have some deals worked out with Bungie for Destiny. That's the only realistic thing I can think of.
On Microsoft side??? who knows. I would think it has more to do with 3rd party timed exclusive BS for them. That's not really betraylton but it is something.

the timed exclusives usually help and it also helps with tv ad. most of the blockbuster titles were ads for the 360 version. microsoft definitely won't let up. which is why sony needs to step up their game.
Yeah that makes sense, I kinda expect something like this from Sony. GPU OS use 10% but the Ram and Cpu I don't expect more than 2GB and 1 core.

Epic has been very quiet about Xbone. They didn't show any tech demos for the system and even on the PR front they haven't said anything...

I think everyone is misusing betrayalton. It should be megaton or surprises. Kojima Productions is a multiplatform developer and so is Insomniac; if one of them is making an exclusive for XONE then okay. Koji-Pro would be the only hurtful one for SCE. Insomniac are hit and miss.
I didn't really say they wouldn't also make Gears for MS. They could give both platforms an exclusive. Show off their engine on each company's hardware.

Yes, true, but it's a given so it would have to be really major to shock anyone at this point. The bigger the game the less likely they are to go fully exclusive (too much money/sales to be had on the other platform) and therefore the less likely it is they are to get really big games with major exclusivity deals.
Surprises, yes. Game changers? Maybe not so much. Either way, it's going to be fun.

If you have a gaming PC I wouldn't be too worried about MS, I'm sure they'll money hat a few big games which will eventually head to other platforms like they did this gen.

If past E3's are anything to go by then we've heard half the announcements already through 'rumours' that we're all currently entertaining but probably don't fully acknowledge.
I wouldn't be surprised if we know all MS big game announcements.
- A few new IP's (Black Tusk Studios, Quantum Break from Remedy, Ryse from Crytek)
- Perfect Dark or Killer Instinct from Rare
- Fallout 4 console exclusive
- Dead Rising exclusive
- Respawn's IP Titan exclusive
- Insomniac Games new IP exclusive
- Mirrors Edge 2 exclusive
That's what I think we'll see at MS conference, as well as more on Forza 5 and COD: Ghosts.
Sony we know about Destiny.
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII will likely be there as an exclusive on PS4.
- Final Fantasy XIV for PS4
- The Last Guardian as a PS4 game.
- More on Knack, Killzone, Infamous and Drive Club
- Ready at Dawn's IP
- Sony Santa Monica's IP
- Maybe Level 5 with a new game or Media Molecule.
That's what we'll likely get I'd bet on most of those being right, with little else. Still pretty epic showings from both sides though.

This is how I feel too. Initially I was kind of disappointed in the raw numbers but the customization, efficiency, and RAM set up all sounds perfect for a console box. Once you factor in HSA/GPGPU functions and ease of development, this gen should be just as big or even bigger of a jump than ever before.

I imagine Bungie got pissed off with constantly playing second fiddle to COD on 360.
As for Epic, Unreal engine was literally the first thing shown running live on PS4, although that's understandable. As I recall, Epic announced Fortnite for multi-plat a long time ago. I wouldn't be surprised to see that as a timed Xbone exclusive, but you never know. I think Gears might be dead actually, or at least mothballed. Just my take.
Microsoft can moneyhat as many exclusives as they want. I will still go with Sony! (Because most of those games will come to the PC as well)

I think people often overestimate just how much they can spend on gaming related things. If they had a infinite supply of money to toss around then this current-gen would've been the time to do it. They had Sony on their heels due to the high pricing of the PS3. All they really managed to do was get some timed exclusive DLC and for certain devs to go multiplatform.
