I want Infinite Space 2. Preferably on Wii U.

What's Nude Maker up to? Their site doesn't provide me with anything other than a slight chuckle:

Sorry.

Whats your point?

This is about whether he is lying/trolling or not.

His point is that just because Kamiya says it'll show up doesn't "confirm" that it will be shown at the Direct. He's trolled enough that there's no point using his answers as proof one way or another...

Edit: Ahaha, Kamiya! I'll be so disappointed if Dog Ninja isn't in development now!

Wow I have a very very bad feeling about this! Games we have known about for more than one year? Pikmin 3 and fucking NSLU?
Ready to be utterly disappointed. If Nintendo doesn't show more than 4 new games, they will look stupid next to Microsoft 8 new IPs and 15 exclusives.

Perspective is everything I guess

MS is focusing on the next 18 months or so

Nintendo is most likely focusing on the next 12 or so.. it will depend.

What i was getting at is how does what he said make a point in the subject he replied to. Which is whether or not he is trolling/lying.

15 exclusive Xbone game for the first year sounds like a lot, but if you think about it, Wii U probably has even more exclusive for its first year:

1. Nintendo Land
2. NSMBU
3. ZombiU
4. Sing Party
5. LEGO City
6. Game & Wario
7. Pikmin 3
8. The Wonderful 101
9. Wind Waker
10. Mario 3D
11. Sonic Lost World
12. Mario & Sonic at the Sochi Olympics
13. Third Sonic game
14. Retro?
15. Mario Kart?
16. Wii Party U?
17. Wii Fit U?
18. Yarn Yoshi?
19-xx. Some other first party game announced at E3 (that Kuju Entertainment game?)

And that's not counting games like MH3U (MS counted Xbox 360/PC games as exclusive iirc).

They clearly don't count because they've already been announced.

Well Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 were promised for the launch window...
I just want Wii U to be a bit more future proof. This year is already awesome:

July - Pikmin 3
August - Wonderful 101
September - Rayman Legends
October - Wind Waker HD
November - Mario 3D, Sonic
December - Mario Kart

That leaves Retro's game, Bayonetta 2 and SSB for 2014 but no way they release in the first half. There will be again another lull in the first part of 2014.

Barring a shocker, which is always possible, I really do think the "success" of Nintendo's E3 in the mind of journalists and the core gamer crowd will be in how well received the 3D Mario game is by everyone. If it just looks like Galaxy 3 in HD, it probably will not make an impact. If it is something truly mind blowing, I think Nintendo could gain a lot of good will, even with people who have not been impressed with the system up to this point.

Yeah, I think people are definitely looking for stuff that's different and interesting at this e3 so a new style of Mario game I think could get a lot of people excited.

Not sure that winning e3 will be that important or possible (since Sony could unveil a ton of great looking PS4 games) though.

Can't believe some people are complaining 1 hour isn't long enough. It's how long Nintendo's E3 press conferences were, and those were filled with PR talk and useless things like waiting for applause to stop.

This is 1 hour of pure game announcements and trailers.

Yeah your right, I've already made the calculations, it's plenty of time to show as many games as they want.

If they show a game every 3 mins(balance it out to some games 2 mins or less some 4 mins plus, even 2 mins is pushing it for some games)
They could technical show "at least" 20 games in 60 mins if they wanted to.

I wouldn't worry about "time" in this direct. This isn't like the Xbox One conference. Nintendo Directs usually flows smoothly, waves of games one after another.

It'll be nice if it switch to "Sega Direct" "Atlus Direct" etc. during the E3 Direct.
Would be weird if only Iwata is in it. It's an important Direct this time.

Haha yeah. Let's not forget how shocking Bayonetta 2 was at the time.

And there has been nice surprises like X, SMT X FE, Zelda Windwaker HD, Zelda LTTP 2 etc. Nintendo Directs are great!

In the Jan Direct, they also still tried to sell you the launch window farce. The Direct shows afterwards have been great because they were for the 3DS, while the Wii U and the core fans that bought it were left in the cold without fucking shame by Nintendo.

The first Wii U Direct in months last time was also the worst they've had the whole year and the abscence of Wii Fit and similar shit is already pretty telling for E3. Seems like Iwata and the upper people at Nintendo fucked up management of going HD so badly, they can't even react to the (right now deserved) poor reception of the console, even if they wanted to. When they are done with finally cleaning up the goddamn launch window mess, you'll probably get some half assed Mario Kart and Wind Waker without proper gameplay changes.

Not sure if 3D Mario, maybe Retros Game and Wonderful 101 (which I should also be playing already...) can save anything really. One ,,surprise'' will also be Wii Sports, because Iwata doesn't yet realize it's audience is gone.
I'm surprised that so many can get hyped for the Wii U after they did everything wrong that could have went wrong and there are no signs of improvement. There main focus now clearly lies with the 3DS, which has an amazing lineup but hence ultimately killed way too many resources to also keep up the Wii U sadly. Right now it would have been the perfect opportunity for Nintendo to strike against MS/Sony with all that bad DRM talk etc, but I think they are literally unable to do so and sentiments of demanding Iwatas layoff don't seem too farfetched to me anymore.

You okay there?

I agree, Wii Fit's absence was weird, however that Wii U Direct was CLEARLY and advertised as being for the Wii U games over the summer, and that's what it delivered. No megatonnes were to be dropped then.

Also, why would Wind Waker have gameplay changes? It's a HD port, not a re-imagining.

Mario will certainly help. Yes, Wonderful 10 was planned for an earlier release, however it got delayed to perfect it. You also can't use the "Nintendo can't do HD" excuse for it because it's made by Platinum who have done loads of HD.

People need to accept that games DO get delayed. I'd much rather they get delayed than released as glitchy products with 1GB patches released 6 months down the line.

I'm surprised that so many can get hyped for the Wii U after they did everything wrong that could have went wrong and there are no signs of improvement.

The entire point of this Direct is to show the signs of improvement. Nintendo have said they held off on their marketing budget this year until the second half. Why advertise it when there's little new on it. Things WILL change. Mark my words

Thats news to me.

Super Mario United Kingdom

A return to the Super Mario Bros 2 (america) concept in a 3D world with the ability to play two player co-op through player 1 on the WiiU Gamepad and player 2 on the TV with the nunchuck/wiimote or WiiU Controller Pro. You can play as Mario, Toad, Luigi, or Peach as you fight bowser to save the kingdom! Players can seemlessly switch out in-between players during actual gameplay. Take that Take-Two!

My off-the wall prediction for today.

I have really high hopes, and very low expectations. That's probably the best approach, right?

Would love more than anything to see a new Metroid for Wii U. But Smash, assuming it will be out within the next 6ish months and not 1 year plus, would also be exciting.
