To this day I can't figure out why people have such fond memories of that game. Oh wells.
it's still the best pokemon spin-off yet and it released during the prime of the franchise

The Nintendo 3DS is undoubtedly the best canvas for a new Metroid game right now. It would be quite opportune for Sakamoto and his traditional Metroid team to deliver a pertinent chapter in the classic Metroid saga.
I really hope this Nintendo Direct is the opposite of what I am expecting. We shall see those cards soon enough.
Oh, awesome! Sounds like a really good thread.I will be making a thread where all the E3 Info, trailers, interviews, demos, etc by Nintendo will be. Like a Recap Thread of sort.

Disappointment. Based on what we've seen from Nintendo over the last few E3s, why should we believe otherwise?
Hey BY2K, it'd be awesome if you reserved a post after your OP to update with thumbnail galleries of all the high-res media assets Nintendo will release later that day via press.nintendo.com. Yeah after that dbag started teasing crap. No more of that pleaseYes let's keep this out, we don't want what happened in the last thread to repeat.A lot of new members went crazy with PM's.
It didn't even have all the Pokemon from the first gen and was too short. And I never really found the gameplay all that interesting. I dunno, I just have a hard time seeing what people actually enjoyed, but tastes are tastes.

Those were the days.
People are truly setting themselves up for disappointment if the last few E3s are anything to go by. It's no secret Nintendo has been struggling to manage their development schedules, especially on the console side. There is no doubt we'll get Super Mario U and Kart 8 in some form, but beyond that I don't expect a whole lot. And I'm basing this purely on what I've seen from Nintendo's E3 presence since 2006.

Because we're seeing screens of a new 3D Mario game, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros for the first time? That alone is more substance than we've had in the past two E3s.
lolYeah after that dbag started teasing crap. No more of that please
Because the concept is great, and can be expanded upon.
yea lots of people hated how short it was but the prices hit rock bottom very quick and many people were still renting in that era so that wasn't a big problem for most. it was still a very enjoyable 5hr game. the gameplay was OK, looking back i think it has much more potential to be met which is why i think it'd make a cool modern game if they put the time into it
yes, I need posts like this. After last year I had promised myself to not get hyped and am starting to fail already damn it. Can't wait till it's over and done with.True. But I think people are excepting much more for some reason. Gotta temper that enthusiasm a bit.
Awesome GIF. Believe people.
Hyped to see some surprises, but I'm actually interested in stuff already announced to be shown.. mostly Smash but I doubt they are very far into it unfortunately.
Nice one! More people should give it a try.![]()
The Crooner and the Fantabulous Chickenductor.
didn't Sakurai say the game system is done some time ago, does it mean it's playable?
also anyone know how his arm is doing?
Bayonetta's ass gets me soo hyped its not even funny.
it'll be hilarious if they show like one screenshot of the gameI think they did confirm that, but they would of confirmed it playable at the January Direct, so the best we will get is a trailer.

At least one surprise for sure, what the heck is Retro working on. This better not become the next Last Guardian situation.
That's not even the worst possible scenarioDon't give them any ideas.

"We are making a new Super Smash Bros. game. Here is the logo. Please look forward to it. We hope to launch Holiday 2016."
I think you're confusing hype with arousal.
Whenever Iwata announces something and I hear his soft voice and he brushes that sweet hair the feelings become interchangeable.
when it comes to Nintendo, they're one of the same.I think you're confusing hype with arousal.
Really excited about the game.
But, its depressing with having this feeling that the game is going to bomb so hard.
