Just incredible. E3 bear is what caused me to sign up last year.

Many will be disappointed regardless of what happens. Some will go far as to finding an excuse to move the goalposts, since this Direct comes after Ms & Sony's conferences.
Nintendo justs needs to use the Direct to show that they have a plan for software releases for the next 6 months and beyond.

Hyped to see some surprises, but I'm actually interested in stuff already announced to be shown.. mostly Smash but I doubt they are very far into it unfortunately.

Not feeling good about anything relating to a Nintenfo announcement is wise. Two years of continual let downs regarding Wii U has me convinced Nintendo have lost their mojo. Or maybe it's just that their mojo no longer works on me.

Also, as nice as it will be to see 3D Mario, Mario Kart, and Smash (among others), I really want to see some 3rd party announcements. It'd be a bit disheartening if all we got was 1st party titles. I hope there are some special WiiU titles from 3rd parties other than Sonic.

I wonder if Nintendo would have COD:Ghost for WiiU announced at e3 or if that's even allowed with Microsoft's exclusive deal. It's be pretty rough if WiiU didn't get COD this year, and I hope they don't wait until September to announce it again.

i could understand that worry, but if you look at their 3ds side of things they are bringing out some pretty awesome stuff. hopefully they hit their stride and start firing on all cylinders soon with the wii u, as well.

I think it will be announced but I'd also be interested to learn black ops 2's numbers though, apparently they were really bad?
in any case since it releases in November, it could be up against one or two 1st party heavyweights, not too sure its absence would impact sales in a significant manner.

Negative opinions are usually the loudest opinions. So I would say the youtube ratings is more accurate for the "general" fans.

If there was an "exclusive deal" then why was Ghosts announced for PS3/PS4 as well? Why hide a WiiU version?

I still think that there will be a WiiU version but Microsoft very likely has nothing to do with why it hasn't been announced.

I'm not a CoD fan really but I got BO2 on the Wii U and appreciated the extra stuff on it. The multiplayer gamepad stuff was cool so I hope that if the Wii U does get CoD that they put a bit of effort in it.

Well i can see CoD being announced at this Nintendo direct if they do a third party sizzle reel or something. If it comes it will be pretty much black ops 2 did. Have the killstreaks on the gamepad and no dlc :/

Pretty much this. YouTube is one of the most negative places to go at times and has a whole lot of trolls lol.

Are you talking about the one were they showed Yarn Yoshi, Wind Waker HD and X? Or the one were they showed A Link to the Past 2, Yoshi's Island 3, Mario Party 3DS and Bravely Default? Or the one that we knew was going to be only about announced titles but still revealed a new Sonic game?

NDs have been delivering constantly since they made them worldwide, so there's no reason to believe this one won't deliver as well. Especially replacing an E3 press conference.

Edit: And Nintendo's E3 presence has been great since 2006, except for last year's terrible conference.

Not sure if you'd counting Sonic and the unknown Sega game. There's also Project Cars and another Scribblenauts

Sorry about that. Speaking of Project Cars, the game was delayed to 2014, but we could still see some footage of it.

I wonder what other third party Japanese support Wii U may be getting. Square Enix hasn't announced any major support beyond the Deus Ex port. There's also nothing new from Capcom beyond two eShop titles for Summer, but Namco Bandai and Konami haven't announced anything new. Please God, give us Dark Souls 2, Killer is Dead, and The Evil Within.
