What if the last Sonic game is Sonic Adventure 3
Wouldn't make any sense to release two Sonic Platformers this year.

Who says it's a platformer?Wouldn't make any sense to release two Sonic Platformers this year.
Sonic & Donkey Kong, platformer by Retro.
Except it's not even an indirect confirmation. It's an insinuation, if anything. But I apologize, I'm just being difficult.
We have enough platformers for now...
Did a quick and dirty translation:
The rest is irrelevant.
[1]Well thatfalls down to a matter of difference of opinion, but the point is that Nintendo had already shown game-worthy design choices using the Gamerpad that would warrant a sequel. Nintendo needs ways to sell the Gamerpad to people and those demos are still some of the best ideas they have shown.
[2]I wouldn't say rarely. Many times patents have been discovered from Nintendo that turned into something. The WiiU voice chat, the help system in Mario and Zelda, the Gamerpad, etc. It's just another piece of the puzzle showing the motions have started for a WiiU sports title. Nintendo most likely didn't go through all that trouble to create WiiU Sports demos/concepts and patent it for nothing.
[3]Your original point ignores games like Wii Fit U which use the Gamerpad in motion-gaming ways, or NintendoLand Zelda which has motionplus sword-fighters teaming up with a player using the Gamerpad as a bow. It ignores SiNG and Just Dance as well. It also ignores the very compelling demos that already provided some exciting new ways to play a Wii Sports game.
[4]Anyways, you can continue to put your head in sand, but just don't be surprised when WiiU Sports is revealed. it is probably going to happen soon (like 9 days soon).
True. There can never be enough platformers in the world of Nintendo.
You should be since you're right, it really doesn't confirm anything. There could be a Shulk assist trophy in Smash Bros. Some people take twitter too seriously.
It can't be another platformer, can it :/
you'll get f-zero x on virtual console and like it.Is it even possible that... the third game is NINTENDOXSEGA F-ZERO!?
Oh my gosh.... bombs... will be dropped... delicious hater tears...
why are you being so stubborn over this? new x footage is one out of many possibilities. It couldn't be more obvious what that tweet means, though. Especially since the game was already shown off this year ...
Yeah, that's what I think. I'm okay with that.Prediction:
There is no regular Mario Kart, just Mario Kart x Sonic Racing
Big the Cat spin-off. It's what we've all been waiting for.The third Sega game will be Sonic and his Shitacular friends @ the partyzone
Can't wait for the Wonderful 101. It will release two days after my birthday. So hyped.
Awesome!
Awesome gif is awesome.
Kinda makes me not do anymore countdown stills since they can't ever compare![]()

I would disagree with the sentiment that those two demos are "some of the best ideas" they have shown for the GamePad usage. The golf one being especially useless from what I can tell by that video.
The patent pertains to using the new controller on the ground to see the lie of the ball, but it goes into more detail, revealing it's possible to 'miss' the ball entirely if your aim is off. If you succeed in striking the ball, the speed of your swing and angle of the club face are used to calculate the ball's trajectory. You know, like in normal Wii golf games.
[3]
No it does not. My original point has nothing to do with what you describe there. You make it sound like I said motion gaming in general has no place on Wii U which couldn't be farther from the truth. Your examples are from completely different types of games. Nintendo Land is all about the GamePad and for the most part can be fully enjoyed with only that while Wiimotes only come into play during multiplayer sessions or alternate modes. Like I said now multiple times, the action-based gameplay that is central to the Wii Sports experience doesn't work with the GamePad other than for maybe a racing game. Your primary input would still have to be a Wiimote, meaning it would have to be bundled in and thus not really being a selling point for the GamePad idea. I don't see how any of your examples are relevant to my original point.
[4]You get a free pass to rub it in my face if Nintendo actually does announce a Wii Sports title for Wii U this year. I give you the whole rest of 2013 for that. But you can only rub it in AFTER it has been actually announced and not before which is what your closing statement looks like there...
I haven't paid much attention to The Wonderful 101. I had no idea it looked like that these days!
Awesome.
Prediction:
There is no regular Mario Kart, just Mario Kart x Sonic Racing
If you would have actually looked at the link I provided, you would have seen why it is one of the best implications of the gamerpad yet:
It uses the IR between the Gamerpad and wiimote to make sure you are accurately hitting the virtual ball with your swing. That is revolutionary for a golf game.
Nintendo has already provided two compelling uses that make two Wii Sports original presumably more compelling experiences. You just happen to be ignoring them. Zelda Nintendoland proves that the Gamerpad and wiimote can be used together to make compelling motion experiences. Wii Fit U has plenty of neat uses of the balance board along with the gamerpad, like balance a tray with your hands while walking. Those are games that were already motion-active games on Wii, and Nintendo has provided examples using the WiiU Gamerpad to keep those franchises motion-active if they wanted to. Somehow we are suppose to believe that Nintendo can't provide more compelling sports-related Gamerpad events for a new WiiU Sports? Why?
I'm just matching your original definite statements with some of my own. Obviously a Wii Sports U happening or not happening is in no way a definite either way, but at least my arguement is backed up with actual evidence compared to yours which is strictly opinion-based.
Went pretty safe with this, but also added some risks.

i would be really surprised if a wii sports u gets released this year. that game will probably get overlooked if it comes out this year. it needs all of that extra time in the oven anyways. i really liked the idea behind the Golf game, i think casuals would eat that up but i'm not sure where else they can go
I'm cheating because I'm using GIFs and I'm reusing assets:
