Oh really? I thought it was separate from that. Maybe you're right. Still, there's hope from that Agility Orb logo we saw in the games section!

It's almost certain given that the orb logo is a new design never used in a previous game. I think OXM ran a story saying the same after the reveal.

More like 1, less like 2 please Microsoft. I know you're reading.

If there is a new Crackdown coming i really hope there are fully destructible environments, at full power your character should be able to take down skyscrapers.

Did you all ever read the GameInformer that originally covered Crackdown (1)?

I loved what Crackdown 1 turned out to be, but the game that they described in that GameInfromer cover story was something that I still have yet to experience in any game. It had a lot more interior to exterior stuff (lots of taking fights into and out of buildings; busting through windows to the ground below) and destruction that sounded awesome. It also made customization and focusing on abilities sound a lot more important. I know everyone loves to make the super-beast that's awesome at everything, but I still love that old WRPG idea of having a character with great strengths and great flaws; especially in a co-op based game.

That's what I want from the new Crackdown. I love Crackdwon 1, but that game they described is something that no open-world game has really done yet.

It really does look like a new Viva Piñata. From the stylized aestetic, to the fence building aspect of it. I think they obviously didn't show any of the piñatas as to not give away the surprise completely.

EDIT: Quick Question: Could I be able to play a game and snap a Youtube video up (or maybe just the audio?) on the side of it in theory? I really like listening to various stuff on Youtube when I'm playing games that don't have story stuff in it like a multiplayer game or a racing game.

I think they'll show a game where the goal is erasing everyone's memories of the real Xbox one; something like that:

Viva Pinata Island, where you no longer make do with a small flat garden, your "garden" is a whole island with mountains, forests/woods, the beach and the sea...

I wish, but a man can dream :)

So you guys think those pictures during the reveal represented actual games and weren't simply placeholders? I want to believe that another Crackdown exists, but after getting hyped for the Wii U reveal, the PS4 reveal, and then the Xbox reveal, I'm reticent about getting hyped anymore.

Crackdown? You bet your ass there is a 3rd, 4th and infinite sequels planned. Sandbox games are all the rage nowadays plus MS need something to counter Infamous.

Phil Spencer basically said there would be another crackdown before last years e3, he loves the series.

We will have the same Twitch channel up for folks during the event in case the site crashes. Will have it up for pretty much the entire day actually. It was hilarious during MS's May 21st event. I am hoping for "interesting" this time. http://www.twitch.tv/angrycentaur
I am hoping for a good Crackdown announcement.

Someone on twitter asked Phil about a new crackdown and he said he loved the series and asked what people wanted in a new crackdown, methinks he wouldn't be asking that if they didn't have plans for another one

Probably, but it's still a little unclear at the moment. Reading this Kotaku article they state that when something is snapped you can't directly interact with the game.

But on the other hand, an MS representative said this

Skype can also be used to call any of your Skype contacts for voice or video chat exclusively or while playing a game.

Which I'm guessing means you can snap Skype and continue playing your game. So unless they make the crazy decision of only allowing Skype to be snapped (while gaming), I can't see why you couldn't do that.

Yup, you should be able to snap any app to the side, including Youtube. You won't be able to snap two games though, so no snapping Forza while you play Quantum Break.

I think MS did a awful job of explaining their gaming features.

I heard leaks about remote play, streaming, game dvr, being able to take over games but they didn't show case none of it at their event. Basically they didn't show case their bread and butter XBL. I'm assuming E3 will be used for that but still...

Cool! It seems like there's still some confusion over what we can and can't do while we snap, so I hope they clear that stuff up at E3.

Any one seen this? Idk if it's true if so that's a megaton in itself port pegging can at least stop

Microsoft does not want games like Gears of War, Halo or Quantum Break to actually run on anything other than the Xbox platform.

I'm looking forward to what games they will show.

I didn't think I would own a Wii, but since some of the exclusive first party titles made the experience worthwhile, I do not regret it.

Good, something they needed to rectify this gen. If they send out a clear message that exclusives on One stay exclusive, it'll give the console a much better value appearance.

I like this quote, it's classic MS:

"When enquired whether PC gamers could possibly get access to some of that content, Matt Booty, general manager of Redmond game studios and platforms revealed in an interview with Shacknews that while “Windows 8 gamer is certainly going to participate in some of that content," it is not going to be in the way one might expect or want." (I added the bold).

That pretty much sums up the entire Xbox One to me.

He is talking about Windows 8 support of Xbox content....

I think it's safe to say these titles will be at E3.

Quantam Break
Crackdown 3
Forza 5
Halo[Halo 5?]

The 3 on the right are the hardest to guess. The first looks like journey? Second might be Ryse and 3rd is a Rare game obviously. Seems like a new ip though right? So maybe no KI3 or multiple Rare projects announced?

I rather 343 take every time and resource towards halo 5 and release it in 2015. I still think Halo 5 is fall 2015 and Gears 4 will be fall 2016.

Like lostones just said they have two teams and a crap tonne of resources. But I agree, I'd like the first Halo on X1 to be Halo 5 launching in 2015, get people really excited about Halo again. I think with Gears, Respawn and Black Tusk they have enough heavy hitters to keep X1 gamers satisfied until late 2015.

I just don't think MS is gonna sit on the Halo franchise for 3 years without a game though.

Especially not if they are working on a series

I don't think we'll see Gears 4 or Halo 5. We'll definitely see Halo, but it'll be a spinoff. Though Frankie denies Halo 2 Anniversary, it's probably the most likely candidate followed by Wars 2 or an ODST 2
I want to believe

It's Gears that needs a rest IMO, especially now that Microsoft really don't need to rely on it. Their strategy seems to be one of appealing to as wide a userbase as possible, so I expect a more varied lineup this time round. Let it sleep to build interest, another announcement so soon would only continue the fatigue.
