Haha, oh really? Oh well then, I'd have a hard time arguing otherwise. But I don't remember it. There's defintely two shots of Ryse on the boxes above it.

Yeah, I didn't even realize it until I went back and looked again.

I agree that the tile above it is Ryse, but I think the top tile is a brand new IP, maybe by Black Tusk.

Topright looks more like a platformer to me, or something heavily stylized. Ninja something ;)
The Rare is is def. some Sports game, hence the jump/wingsuit.

The other demo with the glowing orb has a glowing fence, so it's probably Viva Pinata, don't know why noone realized that.

Almost certain both that and the thing below are Ryse.

But then again, I didn't notice the Rare logo. :P

And I assume the Rare game, is what the DVR section was based in. It looks similarly styled anyway.

And thanks abadguy for the Bloodwake info. That's a spurious title, why do people think they'll revive that?

They've set up a sports studio, Skybox Sports. Not that could be Kinect Sports, lets hope not.

That would be awesome. All I want for the next Xbox is a good baseball game. That's one thing the 360 just doesn't have, and it's a damn shame.

Yeah, it reminds me of like a combination of Journey and Shinobi (just because it's a little more stylized than Ninja Gaiden). It might just be the perspective though.

EDIT: Did that blue swirly demo immediately remind anyone else of Kameo? I think it's a Kinect game where you build stuff on the fly though, judging from the demo. Almost reminds me of Viva Pinata in a way.

How sure are we that that's crackdown 3, and is that halo a game..

That symbol is pretty unmistakable.

Rare was rumored to be working on a water based racing game.

90% sure it's Viva Pinata :)

Who would be making it though? Ruffian swear down it's not them.

As Jay-Z says, "men lie, women lie." But maybe it's just one of Microsoft's unproven studios, or perhaps they're getting a third party (Insomniac, anyone?) to make it for them?

Would be friggin' rad! Also, the game in your avatar is what I'm most anticipated about, from the games we know 100% for sure. Remedy is always solid. I'm ready for some Quantum Break action.

The upper-right is going to be whatever thatgamecompany is doing next, it looks way too much like journey, and the exclusivity with sony was a 3 game deal, now over.

I'd be shocked if they went back to a big corporation's teat.

Then again Phil Spencer did call Journey out specifically. So maybe!

What leak was that?

Ah, I wish I could find it now. It was linked here on the forum. Gametrailers and some Facebook page had banners and everything, but they were taken down shortly after they went up.

That would be crazy.

Speaking of, I really wish Microsoft reconsiders their self-publishing stance. That and mandatory Kinect are the only things I really don't like about the One so far.

They said you can 100% disable Kinect or something? Another messy confusing communication thing, E3 will clarify all. (I hope)

Also the self publishing thing is rubbish too and was completely twisted by the media apparently.

Ruffian is an independent studio. They do not belong to Microsoft. At the moment Ruffian is working on the game called Tribal Towers.

Anyway you spoke about a leak. What's the leak? Can you tell us about it?

Ruffian definitely has enough people to be working on a 3D console game.

Tribal Towers is their own, totally indie endeavour. There are lots of UK studios at the moment, that get paid helping co-develop titles in trouble, doing DLC, doing any number of the boring parts of games.

Ruffian has the team to be making a console game.

Well, I've always been thinking "I'll wait till E3 to decide," so that's all good to hear. I just hope they allow you to disconnect it all together though and allow the machine to function. I mean I'll have the thing connected 99% of the time; the UI navigation possibilities seem amazing, but it's nice to know you can disconnect it if you wish.

Yeah, I was saying they could be doing that again with another studio, or just making it with an internal studio.

Damn, I know somebody on here has to have the link to the leaks; it was basically a banner ad on Gametrailers for C3, and I think there was a Facebook page and some promo-images to boot. No gameplay or anything, just Crackdown 3 logos and stuff.

A Speedboat combat game for the original Xbox, like Twisted Metal with boats.

Woah, where did you get this from!? This looks to be more air-focused to me. Like a new Crimson Skies?

Also, what's the friend count from?

I want to know more about MS Osaka. How long have they been around? Is the game they're working on very far along in development? I hope to hear more from them soon. MS is fairly good at stocking their studios with top notch talent from various dev studios( 343I, and Black Tusk from what i hear) and i assume it will be the same with Osaka. They already have Futatsugi and most of Team Andromeda working on CD, they should try to make them a permanent part of that studio. Hell if i were them i would go after Fumito Ueda too.

Is there any rumors about this studio? I mean it would be easy to assume they're making some JRPG. Likely a new IP instead of one of Mistwalker's games from this generation.

It is funny those saying MS wouldn't bother in Japan, now they have a studio there. It's a start hopefully they approach it differently this time.

It's just a zoomed in view of this:

It's on the trending page, so I'm assuming it's just letting you know that 26 friends have recently played the game.

Interesting...I wonder what the hell that is? It reminds me of the Jet Set Radio franchise for some reason. Would be cool to see Sega bring it back for the One.

I thought they approached it pretty well with the 360, I just don't think Japan wants to buy a Microsoft console when they have two strong Japanese brands there already in Nintendo and Sony.

I would love them to announce an Xbox 360 mini, which would work as an extender for the Xbox One. this would allow games to be streamed through the new Xbox. I know they said there would be no backwards compatibility, but this would be a great feature.especially if it were able to play the XBLA games.

It was in this thread.

Showed up in the "four new IPs thread as well. I have no idea what it could be.

First i heard of them was just after the MS reveal. There was pretty much no hints whatsoever of MS building a studio in Japan before that. We were all focused on the ones they were starting in Europe and Canada.

It would be cool if they did this but it was like another app that could be run through the Xbox One UI still.

About the third image,

Sounds like one of the new IP (obviously), but not much else to go on...

That shot reminds me so much of Windwaker.

I also really like the variety of these games we're starting to see hints of.

It's all from the reveal.

Agree, it looks too much like Journey to be a coincidence. Smells like betrayalaton.

MS Osaka have been around for at least a year as they were hiring for story directors with experience in RPGs in mid-2012.

They are working on at least one big project (most likely a JRPG) but there are a few rumours of a second. It's highly unlikely we'll see either before TGS.

Speaking of rumours, they are rumoured to have picked up staff from Feelplus.

As much as I was convinced I am going PS4 only next-gen something came over me.
I don't know why but I think MS are going to pull off an amazing E3.

You and me both. It would be brilliant if MS bring back the JRPG. There is still a market for them IMO.

I think both MS and Sony are going to have amazing E3's, and I think Nintendo's will be fairly memorable as well. I'm really excited to see Brawl U for example. (Fingers crossed for Star Tropics U, even though it's never going to happen.)

The one thing I do know is that I'll go where the WRPG's are.

We've been hearing those rumors about Fallout 4 (X1 exclusive or not, that's still one of my most wanted games), we have Witcher 3 on the horizon, I think we're going to see Shadowrun: Returns as a console exclusive for the X1 (on PC/mobile/X1) since Microsoft owns the license and has a deal with the developer, and who knows what else there is?

Call me crazy, but as someone who didn't grow up with JRPGs, I had a decent enough time with Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey et. al. on the 360.

I probably don't have the time these days to invest in new JRPGs on Xbox One, but I'd still like to see them developed if it makes financial sense.

See, I'm like you, but I couldn't get into the genre with those.

I had a Genesis instead of SNES, N64/Dreamcast instead of a PS1, and I really didn't play a whole lot of stuff on my PS2 besides MGS 2 (favorite game of all time) because I enjoyed the Xbox and Gamecube more. So I was pretty much completely oblivious to what the genre holds.

I tried FF XII for the PS2 later on and I didn't like it; I tried Lost Odyssey and I just didn't really have the motivation to keep playing; I played FF XIII for 12 hours and I regret every second of it.

For me, there's just some things inherent to a lot of games in that genre that I dislike. I don't like the completely unrelatable characters that usually fill those games; I don't like the combat in a lot of those games (it's not that it's turn-based; X-Com did turn-based extremely well); and for some reason I just can't find one that I like.

I've tried finding one for my PS3, but nothing has really caught my eye yet. I like Valkyria Chronicles, but I'm not in love with it like most people are.

Maybe the genre just isn't for me. I thought I'd like it because it's cousin to my favorite genre (by miles) of all time, the WRPG, but it just doesn't really have a lot of the stuff I love in games like Fallout 3, Witcher 2, Planescape: Torment or Mass Effect.

Wow if they have developers from feel plus that'll be huge. md needs to just invest in that studio as a lost just allow them to be a bullet point strategy. I wish MS would improve relations with namco as well
