The moment he lost Winterfell it was over for him. Without a seat of power, a house behind him funding the war effort, Rob was just a roving warrior supported by a tenuous alliance of old honor.

It was cheap and profitable to betray him, and that Frey had a reason to do so on top of it.

He left his 'realm' so unprotected a bunch of fishermen were able to take it.

Welp, team Stannis? Nah, he's a moron. And Dany bores me. Go wildlings?

Either these fan artists are just being as crazy as usual or book Ned got a damn sweet deal out of the Stark-Tully business.

Would make Littlefinger seem less fooking stupid as well lol

Littlefinger knew what was up.

They're not a bunch of fishermen though. Messing shit up is their way of life. House Greyjoy's words are "We do not sow," meaning we don't do our own stuff, we take what other people have.

Is that for sure?

No but...

<<< This dude don't fuck around. He says he's gonna cut your dick off, he's gonna do it.

I hope the Theon storyline gets resolution, including IDing that guy. It seems pretty obvious that it's Bolton's bastard, especially after last episode, but we need confirmation.

How would someone have survived this back in this era? Would they not bleed out?
Or would someone cauterize the wound.

Well I mean Jaime got his hand cut off and didn't die, and that was after a long while of walking around without medical attention, falling in the mud with his stump, etc.

The best team in GoT.

High five!

I need to rewatch the series so far once the finale hits next week. I feel I've missed a lot and forgotten a lot.

Like what's JonTron's story? You know, the guy leading the girl with the baby around. This guy right here...

I can't even remember why he's doing it. But I kind of can. Rewatch time.

The one and only. My favorite since the beginning. She's a bit too powerful now, in GOT terms that means certain death I'm afraid :(... Im actually worried about her dragons at this point.
Me too. And I was worried when they were just stolen for a few episodes. Protect those dragons please.

Yeah all this messing around with the torturer's identity actually makes sense now. They didn't want to make it obvious what a massive dickbag Lord Bolton is by showing his son acting like an even bigger dickbag.

Guys, don't you realize that Dany has plot armor? If she dies, what was the point of her story? Seriously, how much time was wasted on even bothering with her scenes if she's never going to come in contact with 97% of the characters? So she's okay, at least until she has some relevance to everyone else. This isn't a case of getting to like a "main" character only to have them killed off. She has seriously had no bearing on the other stories. Not that I can remember, anyway. We just have that time that Varys seemed to be planning something with her, but that's about it. I guess if she dies, her dragons could be free to roam. But why would they choose to fly over a large body of water by their own volition?

Ep10 preview talk:
The Northerners will never forget

Yes, I'm sure that matters a whole lot right now.

Edit: OH SHIT
Theon's sister! Fun times ahead.

Just like the Robb/King in the North plotline, right? :P

Way to ignore the rest of what I said. Robb's story was IMPACTING OTHER PEOPLE'S STORY. Hers has not. She has plot armor because nothing she has done has affected anyone else. It was a separate show entirely if there is no overlap. I'm not saying she has plot armor because we've been following her. I'm saying that because in the course of following her, she's been off doing her own thing that contributed nothing. They wouldn't waste money on that. From a producer's standpoint, that is not justifiable, no matter how entertaining. Money makes the world go 'round.

So Kelly C dies and Fedorah tames her dragons then flies off to Westeros and fucks shit up. Or whatever. Who cares, point is there isn't guaranteed plot armor in this show.

Imagine how crushing it would be if Dany died before she even reached Westeros. The rage would be glorious, and honestly I'm kind of expecting that.

And yeah, I just saw your point about the Robb part, but the gif stays.

Exactly. Once I learned that she wasn't in the books, thanks to this thread, it was pretty damn obvious. Same with the whore chick as a matter of fact. The one Joffrey tortured/killed. I remember reading that role was expanded or created for the show. No surprise they'd eventually run out of use for her.

The problem is there is official HBO GOT media talking about those things.

Well, how far ahead of time did he know what was going to happen to his character? I mean the show's based on books that already exist so they can't change things too much. Surely he knew it was going to happen?

Not sure about him but I remember Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) reads his lines right before he has to perform them so he has a similar reaction like the character would.

No idea if true.
Yeah he said he did that in several interviews from the past couple days.

He said almost right away. First off, he signed on the show for 3 years. Second, although he read the book content for each season prior to that season to not get ahead of himself with the character, he said people spoiled it for him almost right away.

You still think this exists in GOT? She may not die but she could easily be left in a situation where she's good as dead. It happened before to her anyway. And I really don't know what to expect anymore, but the fact the her dragons may be taken from her, or killed does not seem far fetched in the slightest.

Think about it This girl:

A) is the only one who has dragons, THREE of them.

B) is immune to fire (and I assume wildfire as well).

C) an army of over 8000 unsallied, 2000 second sons, and dothraki's on top. ALL of them are loyal to her.

D) Is filthy rich now that Yunkai is under her will.

Add to that the she has no reason to stay on the other side of the sea anymore. She's ready to sail. I'm sorry but she is way overpowered, something will happen to her to set the scales again, I just don't know what, and I don't know where. All I know is that I don't want it to happen which, again in GOT terms, means it probably will.

Well we will agree to disagree. Honestly, being pessimistic is probably the best defense mechanism possible for this show. But since I don't really connect with fictional characters, I'm okay with telling myself that she's safe for now. There's nothing to recover from if I'm wrong :)

Team Dany? More like Team Simp.

Half her army is only following her because they've put themselves in the friendzone. Once she shags Super Dario they'll probably leave out of rage. People only like her because she's hot.

People only like her because she's hot. Stannis may be a miserable looking fucker but he's a good leader. Watch the blu ray extras, when Davos delivered food to the besieged Storm's End Stannis gave the food to his men and family first, and then had a portion no bigger than anyone else.

Meanwhile Dany is getting sponge baths from all her "freed" slaves.

All the actors whose characters died would know how long they had from the beginning, it would have been discussed in contracts.

Yea he knew, but it was just an emotional shoot. I remember all the Stark kids+Theon did an appearance at a book signing with George RR Martin, mere days after they were cast. There was a story about him joking about only signing for three years, or something like that.

He said thousands of people spoiled it for him by basically saying "you know you're going to die right?" lol

Have to believe he knew he'd only be on the show for three seasons. Even if most the cast doesn't read the books I imagine they know how long they can expect to have this job.

Here's the interview:

EDIT: There's a spoiler in that article if you plan on reading the books (ie. something that has been changed from the book to the tv show)

I was kind of hoping Yunkai's conquest would cost her dearly. She's way, way overpowered right now and needs to be taken a couple of notches down. Homegirl has been rolling over from city state to city state like no thang.

& in the comments,

No idea if true.

Is there a secret to growing your beard like that?

When I do it its a jumbled mess. The only times it looks nice is when I have a barber trim it and line it up. But I want it to look kind of like this or Snow's Where the cheeks have just the right amount of hair, like in stylized patches or something.

Is that just due to the growth style?

No I don't think it exists on its own. No one is safe...once they're part of the main story. It's just pointless to write this character who never has anything to do with most of the story. I said she has plot armor at least until she interacts with someone else. She is doing NOTHING to contribute. Her scenes are cool and all but why include a character who never affects other characters and is just killed off? To troll everyone? That's some severe commitment to a bit.

Oh I guarantee you, the fact that she's hot is only cherry on top. She's a beast who stands up against all odds and prevails time and time again. Stannis is the second best, but he's nothing compared to her.

Come at me bro.
