Funnily enough, this has been my line of thinking too when I read that statement. Rockstar and Valve. Gabe has been too quiet lately. We'll see soon enough.

Exactly. The conference is going to be awesome. Sony's first party alone will make sure of that. But, one has to be reasonable and not expect two dozen surprise reveals.
Never said they'd be at E3 though. Last I knew, nothing is confirmed on their end just yet. And you'll get at least one megaton, that I can assure you.

You know what? I'm not even sure why I'm trying to temper expectations. It's going to be an amazing show. Don't see anyone being disappointed to be frank.

When it comes to Valve, I meant something along the line of "the superior console version of So and So Game" like they did with Portal 2. Something with Steamworks integration. Seeing Source 2.0 debut during the PS4 conference would be pretty meltdown inducing.

Well, I mean like it's not immoral in business right, cause I don't know what I would do, but I guess I was relating it to other situations, like paying someone to not reveal that they're some other kid's friend in an attempt to wash away that kid's popularity. Last 10 minutes last year was intense as fuck. That and the montage pretty much summed that conference up for me.

Yes, I could see maybe them boast about PS4 getting the best console version of HL3. And yes, I would be very surprised to see Source 2 debut on Sony's stage.

True. Valve will always been PC and then console. However, it is my great hope that Sony and Valve buddy up. I had such high hopes on PS3, but nothing ever came of it. Think of it, what if MS stitches up League of Legends and Sony and Valve make a deal for Dota 2?

I think TLG is something that they'd potential hold until the end. It's not going to be a system seller, but for the audience that's going to be there and the audience that's watching, there would be few games that would be bigger than that.

I told you all already , all major multiplat franchises except 2 (one going PS4 exclusive ,one being xone exclusive) will remain multiplat next gen
MS is bringing up third party devs since they have nothing to show except those Kinect 2 titles and exclusive DLCs for most games.40% of MS e3 conf is based on Kinect 2 offerings
Many multiplat games are running at lower framerates on xone and exclusive plat guys like SQUARE will put many devs to shame . This is a gen where the disparity between first party and third party titles would be huge for the more powerful HW

If some other games show up in a montage, i'm fine. Extensive reveals and demos take up a lot of time, so it makes sense not to expect 20 PS4 titles.
Good, it's a shame some 2015 and beyond titles won't show up. Like, they might be making Eight Days, but if it's a future title, they won't show it or talk about it.
Focusing on First Party is great.
If it's like the 2006 conference, it's good for me. People only remember 599 and Ridge Racer, but i remember game reveal after game reveal. Naughty dog's Uncharted teaser was awesome, as was Eight Days.

Yea, if I was an insider that didn't agree with another insider's claims, then I wouldn't attack him. The sensible thing to do would be to just create a post saying what you have heard and that you stand by it. Just that. More people will probably believe you if you sound sincere and your information is given in a blunt/simple manner whether or not you're telling the truth, which is the scary part.
