So they still have an exclusive coming to them I think.

LA Noire was for exclusive DLC in LAN/RDR/Mafia 2, Agent was for releasing them from the GTA4 exclusivity contract. Or so the rumor goes.

To be honest, if it's a new IP, it can't be that much of a megaton. Existing Ip's, that's a different story.

If there is a Valve exclusive on the PS4, which I highly doubt there will be, then it'd be due to the open nature of the console. It's built in a way that it seems like Valve would build something.
Hold on a second. Let me clarify. I used to watch the Justice League cartoon when young. I think the JL is awesome. But, I think after Man of Steel, a World's Finest movie makes too much sense. That's a powerful combination. They can bring back Flash, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman after that.

I was just trying to rationalise why I didn't like that aspect. I can't remember properly now, but something rubbed me the wrong way back then. I just felt like there was enough there that they could've delayed the relationship development until a second movie. She's a lot better than Rachel from BB/TDK. Now, she was a truly worthless character.

It was supposed to be Agent but the terms of the deal can change over the time to better fit the situation of the companies involved.
Rockstar seems to be in the same position of Square Enix relatively to their deal with Sony. In both cases (Agent and Versus XIII) things were born and went in a similar way.
Would you still prefer Agent or if Sony decided to swap it for the exclusive rights on the next gen version of GTAV at PS4 launch for example?
Btw I can't wait until the event actually takes place, too many people are starting to believe to whatever rumors they're being fed with and it's a bit stupid especially when it's total nonsense.

Hell - the only thing I'm 90% convinced about, rumour wise, is Mirror's Edge 2 1. Existing and 2. Being XBone exclusive. It's gonna suck if I don't get a new xbox but damn if I'm not excited to see a sequel.

Unless the PS4 is launching in September, I don't really see the point of a PS4 or Xbone GTA5 exclusive. People are going to want to play the game right way.

If R* were to do a PS4 exclusive, what are the options really : Agent or Red Dead 2? A new unknown IP seems unlikely.

Red Dead 2 is one of my more anticipated titles. If they get that it'll be a megaton for me. Regardless I'm just happy to get it at all.

Personally, absolutely. I would never trade a new IP for something as wishy-washy as next-gen exclusivity on a multiplatform game. It might move some units for Sony, but I don't have a horse in that race, even though I'd go as far as describing myself as a fan of SCE/Playstation.

If agent is just another GTA 4 cover and shoot game like RDR, LA Noire, and Max Payne 3 were I don't really want it. I'm sick of the engine in general.. Kind of not looking forward to GTA5 because of it.

We've barely seen anything of Destiny, I think that could be an interesting demo - although multiplatform titles are inherently less interesting than exclusive offerings.
If they are actually planning on releasing a PS4/Xbone version, Rockstar probably want to encourage double-dipping. Seems more like a candidate for a 2014 release.
These three games play very differently, they are not "cover and shoot games".

no i am not an insider but i can get inside info for most big companies , not just SONY/MS. I cant elaborate beyond that and theres a few neogaf members who might have the same info as i do
There may be one countdown gif Easter egg already posted OR in the remaining days ahead... But it's really really obscure that it's not worth talking about until a few years time. And it's not as simple as the game footage used being the gif ;P

I'm dreading the days before E3, stuff usually leaks anyway and with megatons this years its even more likely shit will leak. I'm just hoping we can get to the day before without any major leaks then I'll just stay off gaf on the 10th until the conferences are over.
