Did it once to no avail. But I did it just now and things seem normal. Might have been a silly glitch and nothing serious after all.
Keeping pressing down on the d-pad until you get to "sort items by MP."

The 2nd hand Vita I bought came with a screen protector on it. It seems to be effective in protecting against scratches and reduces glare but I'm also pretty convinced that it is producing that 'rainbow effect' (i had to google it). I'm thinking of just removing it, I have a hard case anyway. Will it leave glue or anything, and if so what's the best way to clean it?
Edit: actually it might not be that effect but something else... it just seems grainy. I need to go to a store and compare it with a standard vita screen.

I bought a 2nd hand Vita from a fellow member and he had a screen protector on it. When I removed it, it left a bit of residue on the outer rim of the screen. I just rubbed it off with my thumb.
This has happened to me before. I shut down my Vita, cleaned the screen, then rebooted it. Worked afterwards.

Mine has a screen protector and it sometimes does have a rainbow effect but its due to some scratches on it. The screen got a tiny screen when I first got it so I slapped the protector on it, fearing for my Vita.

Yeah I wiped mine off with a little moisture using a camera lens cloth before restarting it a second time. That might be what did it. I had just been doing some gardening so maybe I had a bit of dirt on my fingers or something. Whew. Guess it shows how much I treasure my Vita.
if there is anything left on the screen use tablet screen Cleaner to remove it.
I have a Hello Kitty Screen cleaner (I'm not joking) I got with my ipod touch, work amazingly.

Honestly, I didn't even look with it on. I hate screen protectors. There are ALWAYS bubbles and it bothers me to no end. I immediately took it off, bought a hardcase, and the HORI silicone protector. It's smooth sailing now.
Is that what the dungeon game looks like?

Thanks!After some more googling it seems it isn't a rainbow effect, just a standard grainy effect common to anti-glare protectors. I've only played my Vita in direct sunlight about once, so I think I can live without it

They replaced a $50 retail title with an old $20 PSP game? :/ I wasn't really excited for Orc but still quite a downgrade. I'd much prefer PSN Vita games to PSP games.
It /might/ be a better idea to use FB if possible for Toro, since the Twitter lobby only mentions your followers. So you'd have to swap follows for it to work with Twitter, maybe.

starting on page 109 of the Vita May thread we recently (albeit accidentally) did a top 5... so that could steer you in the direction towards what games are overwhelmingly popular here - heres a tally about 2/3s of the way through that discussion: This Post
aside from that there are plenty of gems and great games that aren't tallied in that list. so ask around as well...
off the top of my head I know New Little Kings Story and Hot shots golf arent on that list but are both great games.
oh and don't forget to get some PS1 games and PSP games.

agreed - been through too many E3s to get any sort of hype. all I know is there will be lots of gaming news spread all around.
God Eater Burst is a nice freebie. Probably my favorite hunting game, I got it when I got my Vita at launch. The bullet crafting stuff is pretty fun, and the combat's fast enough that it really sets itself apart from MonHun. The story's decently satisfying too, and should last a good 25 hours.

I actually found it pretty boring. I had no idea what I was doing with the bullet stuff. Maybe I should go back to it someday though, since I didn't really know what "hunting game" really meant back then.

Yeah the only people working for me are Cecil, Van and Oshimai. All who came from my friend's list.
You should have waited until the game got trophies patched in before you spent money on it. XD
