Dragon's Dogma Quest coming to PS Vita

Woah, too bad it'll probably never come stateside :\ At first I was like "O_O NEW DRAGONS DOGMA FOR VITA?!" then I saw that it'd a 2D, online, freemium spinoff. It's still something tho.

I'm definitely getting my money's worth out of soundshapes.

One thing the vita is doing is changing the way I "game". I dip into soundshapes for half an hour, then play some Thomas was alone, then dip into urban trials... I'm hopping all over the place - I might finish a game soon

Thats me as well, I just hop from game to game with the ocassional app break, is nice to have a lot of options.

aside from that there are plenty of gems and great games that aren't tallied in that list. so ask around as well...

off the top of my head I know New Little Kings Story and Hot shots golf arent on that list but are both great games.

oh and don't forget to get some PS1 games and PSP games.

Greetings Vita-Gaf!

Recently I decided to treat myself and I got me a Vita and I simply love it; all the talk about *dat oled* lived up to the hype and I really like the look and ergonomics of the system, reminds of when I first got the PSP.

Also got PS+ which already gave a nice collection of games to play on my ridiculously priced 32gb card, the only negative of my vita experience so far. The store prices on the retail games are a bit high as well but I am not looking to go all digital yet.

Care to help me with some PSN recommendations? I am buying JSR and I am looking into these other games too:

Sound Shapes, played the demo 3 times so I guerss I liked it, just worried about its length, worth the 15 bucks?

Escape Plan, while gimmicky I liked the demo but I am always cautious of games that have DLC on t the same amount of the main game

Dokuro, no demo on the store but I really liked the visual style and like puzzle games

If you have other PSN recommendations on the puzzle/adventure/platformer genres let me know.

-Guacamelee - a MetroidVania, but has some INCREDIBLY challenging and awesome platforming in it, as well as some very nice combat. One of my favorite games this year.

-Sly Thieves in Time - Great 3D adventure/platformer. Fun time-travelling story, good gameplay and graphics, and a meaty single player experience.

-Dokuro - Quirky art style, fun gameplay, and very challenging puzzles.

-Sound Shapes (has a bunch of great user created levels, with many curated into custom online albums called "Milkcrates". Basically, while the best levels are in the campaign IMO, it's still got MORE than enough content for the price.

LittleBigPlanet - I'm sure you know about LBP. If you like the series, it's the best one yet. VERY good game.

Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery - A really quirky episodic adventure puzzle game with full voice acting and Professor Layton-esque gameplay for only $2.99 for the first episode. A good 3-4 hour game that's easily worth the small price.

Thomas Was Alone - Now, this is a pretty short game, probably 4-5 hours at most, at $10. I feel it's a LITTLE pricey, but the gameplay and narrative are VERY solid. I wouldn't say it's incredibly challenging, but it's relaxing and got some great platforming in there.

XCOM seems the most likely though, it's already bound to iOS, very little effort to port I guess.

If they do the honorable thing and commemorate the release by finally putting XCom PS1 games up on PSN for the release of new one - that would make Vita the ultimate handheld.

Beat Gravity Rush, what a fun game. I had to cheese it out with 1st final boss using the Gravity Typhoon though. But what the hell, so many unanswered questions by the end. Nothing is explained.

Now off to find the mysterious travelers and rare hunts

This, and Sword of Rapier, are bother former XBLIG releases, along with "Quiet Please!" and that Kung Fu Runner game... Sword of Rapier looks a bit improved since it's first outing too, though I haven't played to see if this is true yet.

I'm actually pretty glad to see some of these things make it over to Vita. They deserve more attention than the forgotten-in-a-moment's-time to XBLIG seems to have with many people. (Now they can be forgotten in 2 moments of time! Wohoo?!)

Now if someone could get Ancient to release Mamotte Knight to Vita (Though I prefer it, and a sequel, as native Vita releases)... wouldn't mind seeing Kohei make some Vita specific games either, though I might shudder to think at how some of them would turn out, ha.

MagicalCube would also look pretty nice on the Vita, and I enjoyed this game similar to how I've enjoyed Yu-Nama...

I've been following the developer and Facebook and supposedly it's improved.

Wasn't amazon awhile ago doing something similar with some 3DS games? If you clicked on the page if had a little add (like if you click on that Minecraft page) for PS vita.
