OH MY GOD. I just tried to charge my 3DS and I think the battery is dead. Won't turn on, and it won't hold a charge. I plug it in and the light turns orange then turns off.

I'm about to go on vacation. :( This is the worst news.

I will have a response prepared for our potential StreetPass at Best Buy next week. :p

You gotta be heading to downtown if you want to possibly StreetPass me. :p

I still have no idea if my message is actually sent to people.

Damn that sucks. Did you try another outlet?

Take your vacation at a power outlet instead. Problem solved!

More seriously, you might be able to get an external battery you could plug your charged into. Like one of those wrist batteries. But that might be something you'd have to order...

So the chance this little guy comes back for his own game/Smash bros debut?

The only new characters will be Nintendo memes.

Man crazy night. E3 Miiverse Community, Iwata dropping puzzle pieces on my 3DS, and my buddy just texted me saying he bought a Wii U this morning.

doh, I thought you were going to the North York one. :(

I'm going with my friend and he said he wanted to buy a game from GameShack so yea. =/

They're both pretty much the same distance from us (assuming the North York location is the Downsview location). Did Best Buy Canada have a store locator up yet?

Just take the battery out and put it in a bag of rice.

I'm really sorry, duder. That really sucks.

I got it to charge, but I'm worried I won't be able to do it again. I noticed that when I plugged it in and held the power button the charge light would turn on. I just held the power button for a long time while it was plugged in. Right now it's on (red light) and charging and I'm afraid to move it or do anything.

Might be an excuse for a new 3DS this Fall when at the very least there are some good bundles. ;)

I made this mock-up of what the Q4 '13 - Q4 '14 line-up might be if everything that's announced/widely expected were to be evenly spread out. (Which of course it won't be, because this is Nintendo.) And yes, I spent too much time picking fonts and color schemes.

One of the weaknesses of this hypothetical schedule would be that most of 2014 is dominated by either very mainstream or very niche titles, with little in between "bridge titles". But there could a few smaller/spin-off titles to fill the gaps (think stuff like Mario Baseball, Mario Sports Mix, PokePark XY, Pokemon Stadium, Kirby Tilt 'n Tumble whatever). On the other hand, some announced titles could very well take longer to develop. A lot of people seem to expect whole laundry list of big surprise announcements on top of Mario/Smash/Kart/Retro, but I question whether there's a lot more room for other surprises. Perhaps one or two other headline games at best. That being said, I think even with just the Wii U (and 3DS!) titles we know about, we might just see the strongest string of Nintendo software we've seen in years

Nice. Short and sweet.

That looks plausible, but where does Sonoc Lost World, Sonic & Mario at the Sochi Games, and the mystery 3rd Sonic game fit into it?

No Iwata in my plaza :/

Try opening the StreetPass Plaza app and then go to the home menu and wait for it to give you a notification.

This is an outrage. What is Iwata doing wasting his time in our 3DSes? He should be out there securing exclusives from EA!

lol did Brera even post here?

Wondering which to head to myself now. North York should be less busy, but Toronto will probably have more GAF posters. Decisions... Maybe one of each? And there's that Animal Crossing event in Scarborough a few days later, too...

Still hoping that the Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 dates are pushed up in North America. It makes no sense for them to be releasing in August and Sept.

If this E3 Direct fails to impress would it signal the beginning of the end for the Wii U? For example I am worried that Nintendo hasn't found anything particularly fresh or inspiring to do with 3d mario. To be honest I think Super Mario Galaxy 3/Universe wouldn't be enough.

I'd be very surprised if the very best developers at Nintendo didn't create something truly outstanding, they've proven themselves time and time again...no need to worry. They will not disappoint.

You're being unnecessarily negative with zero evidence to support it. Try to enjoy the pre-3 hype!

I'm sorry, but are you doubting EAD Tokyo? SMG 1 / 2 and Super Mario Land 3d were all amazing. Cmon man, give em the benefit of the doubt.

I'm at the point now that I don't even care if Nintendo has to simply post a game title on the screen and show nothing else because no work has been done. They have to come up with something to fill the voids left by not having third party support. I'm not expecting anything from anyone at this point at this E3 Nintendo Direct. Just Nintendo content. Even if I have to wait I just want similar experiences. Even if it's just that one entry over the course of the Wii U's life but it's supported by some DLC. That means a new Mario Strikers, Battalion Wars, Mario Sluggers, etc. New entries into series or even new brands that provide similar experiences would be fine.

Get out.

GET OUT RIGHT NOW!!!
