You people are high as a kite if you think Uncharted 2 is more fun on Normal than Easy. Give me a solid justification on these bullshit bullet-sponges.

I didn't do it because I was dying, I did it because 5 or 6 bullets to kill a human being is ridiculous.

in Uncharted world, bullets don't penetrate that hard. you've gotto get past that to really enjoy the game man.

Wat?

There's a reason Counter-Strike pros don't play with less than 120 FPS

Ehh ? fps doesnt matter much in getting head shots , its more to do with adjusting with controller rather then fps for someone who plays a lot of keyboard and mouse esspecially in uncharted.

If it was a fps game then i would understand a bit

I don't have to get past anything, turning the difficulty down to Easy solves the problem magnificently as far as I can tell.

Don't worry, I will be playing The Last of Us on Hard (or its equivalent). I promise.

There is no justification and I wont deny about how many times I died playing on Hard. I just like the challenge is all =P

Hey hey hey now. Uncharted uses a much smaller aim assist than CoD.

... Or "That's the joke"
Nah, I was just talking about the difference of controller input response of 30fps vs 60fps. Give a die-hard Call of Duty fan Battlefield 3 and they get very, very pissed off at the "lag".

That's what frame rate has to do with getting headshots.

Antitrop, the guns do get more lunchtime as the game goes on though. Magnum and shotties baby!

The Last of Us(OT) This gen ends when ND says so.

Because it's a video game. Headshots are still 1-hit kills for most of the enemies in the game, so what you said isn't exactly true.

Also, the enemies reel in hitstun after you land a shot so it's not like they're tanking your gunfire while simultaneously shooting back at you (like in Uncharted 3...)

Besides, no grown man should ever pick Easy mode on any game under any circumstances.

If you think UC2's enemies are bulletspongy, stay the fuck away from UC3's "ignore shots, don't react to bullets, keep shooting you" style of design

In fact, just stay away from UC3

Aye of course . I think you are just accustomed to the very snappy PC aim..

Pulling head shots at 30fps is easy as well once your brain adjusts.

Also, most Uncharted single player enemies move slow enough that fast-twitch responsiveness isn't a necessity. And it's okay to miss once in a while. I'd bet my hit ratio for head shots is less than stellar.

To make it clear, I didn't put Uncharted 2 on Easy because I thought Normal was too difficult or that I was frustrated because I was dying too often (I wasn't dying at all), but merely because I thought it was too dissonant and outside of my realm of personal preference to have to use so many bullets at center-mass to kill a person.

Simple as that.

Chill dude, people are just having a little kick. If you want to play on Easy, good for you. Not everyone is going to be as adept at aiming in these sorts of games, that's why these difficulties exist in the first place.

Welp, I’m out for the night. It’s 1:55am. The only reason I stayed up this late was because I thought the OT would be up by now. **grumble** **grumble**

If being slightly out of the realm of total realistic-ness bothers you that much, you should probably stay away from 99.99% of all the greatest video games ever made.

Anyone know of livestreams that are planning a marathon 1st to last completion on release?

Or turn the difficulty down to Easy?

Why so fatalistic? Thankfully the developers of 99.99% of the greatest video games ever made are good enough to allow the players to customize the experience to whatever suits him or her.

If they remove the score, ironically, it will be the highest rated game this gen and would cause the meltdowns of meltdowns.
There is still the Gamespot review though.

P.S: Hey thuway, have you got your copy yet?

I have seen people in Karachi getting it. I assume you did too?

Uncharted 2 on Crushing specifically is amazing fun. The gameplay changes significantly the way you need to move around. Very, very entertaining.

I don't know how you can pull off consistent headshots at 30fps on a controller. I can't do it.

I'm out of practice.

I bought Kontrol Freeks and it changed my life. One thing I missed about PC gaming was being to do a quick turn around still have really tight precision at the same time. I've always played on low sensitivity due to my lack luster aim with controllers. So when I play FPS I have no chance at countering anything from the side or behind because of my low sensitivity. With the kontrol freeks I can turn the sensitivity up almost all the way in most game. It's a great feeling to have finite control and to be able to whip around and own people if needed. The increase in stick length is weird at first, but that increase in range of motion is so needed for me.

So now. Any word on the AI? The trashing on reddit got me concerend. My friend linked it to me and people were saying the AI is utter " Crap ".
