Can anyone speak to this post on reddit?

Spoiler tagged out of an abundance of caution. No actual story spoilers here or in the link.

Told you the E3 demo was a bit fishy.
The AI is great and they constantly try to flank you, they are aggressive if they are armed with weapons and they run for their lives if you have the upper hand. They are really not that great at fighting (Normal difficulty) but I think it's awesome, that when you are a fight with one, the rest don't just stand and stare, they actually try to help their mates.

The AI is different when enemies haven't seen you. Because when you haven't been noticed then they can't see Ellie or who else might be with you, and thus a Clicker and Ellie can easily walk into each other without knowing that somebody is right in front of them.
I dont get why people keep posting stuff from reddit of all places.

Great news, thank you. Put a lot of my worries to rest.

If you've seen both E3 demos, would you say the AI still acts as dynamically (reacting to empty guns, running away in fear and hiding before ambushing you, etc.)? Can you give any specific examples of what you've seen the AI do?

May I advertise my subtitle again?
The Last of Us |OT| When it clicks...

(Because of the clickers, when you're out of ammo and when the game clicks on you)
(maybe "When it clicks, shit hits the fan")

Me: Hey babe, The Last of Us comes out next week...

Spouse: Awesome, can't wait to wrap myself around that controller and kill some clickers

German 4players (you know, the ones who really like to rate hyped games low) gave it 92%.

That's it, I'm sold. Next weeks gonna be good. First E³ hype, then Last of Us. Man, I can't handle the awesomeness.

Hehe... My GF will visit her parents half an hour before MS' E3 presser starts and won't come back until Thursday.

where the OT ?
anyway...got my copy

I had a convo about the game as well:

Me: I don't want to pay full price for a console game.

Me: Might be worth it though.

Me: Fuck off. What do you know.

Me: Don't then. Nobody is forcing you.

Me: I'll probably get it.

Me: haven't played a game in awhile

Her: yea

Me: Was thinking about getting this game called Last of Us

Her: What's that like

Me: It's set in a post apocalyptic world and you have to survive from infected and.....

Her: Cool, are you going to watch so you think you can dance with me?

Me: yes -_-

Goddam, my GF was at some kids play place and the guy working there started talking to her about the Last of Us and how pumped he was for it and I see random people on my facebook talking about it as well. Then I go into Gamestop and it's LOADED (most Ive seen) of Last of Us advertising.

I have a feeling this game is going to sell really well... makes me laugh how 180 everyone came on this game, I feel like such a hipster. Not even 3 months ago, I was going to every Gamestop near me asking, "Will you do a midnight launch for Last of Us?" and they'd be like, "Hah. No there is like one gamestop doing it for that game in Los Angeles...". Now when I went in and asked the guy was like, "HAHA! Seriously? Of course we are... that game is going to be amazing!". FUCK YOU! I feel like such a damn hipster...

Hipster! :P

Come on. This is just silly. Like that one Polygon review is going to be a major influence on anyone's purchase.

Use your head. IGN reaches far more people than Poly, and has more ads than Poly. If we're going to start making unwarranted accusations of being paid off, IGN would be the most likely site to be guilty.

But nope, it must be the much smaller site, because they have an opinion you don't like. Great business move on Microsoft's part, really.

It's one thing to be hyped, and it's another thing to lose all your critical thinking skills.

I said nothing about sales so Idk why your responding in that context. The man asked a question about whether a game is better than another and I gave him reasons not to follow a number on metacritic. We never talked about why or why not a person will buy the game or whether that polygon review would tarnish sales. After all the lies and bs by companies if you think that reviewers in the past haven't given a game lower score due to allegiances, underhanded tactics, etc CCC I'm sorry but that's just gullible, In the end we don't know that's why I put it can just be conspiracy theories but knowing how Microsoft is you discounting it is ignorant as hell in my opinion.

My wife: I've been thinking about something...

Me: Oh boy...

My wife: We should get The Last Of Us.

Me: I...I was thinking that too.

Said nobody's wife ever...

I'm kidding. My wife is also pretty pumped for The Last of Us. I think she's as much of a Naughty Dog fan as I am. She's currently hogging up my PS3 playing Dragon's Dogma, since her PS3 died on her and we just haven't gotten it replaced/repaired yet.

She probably won't play TLoU, because she thinks it's terrifying, but she'll watch me play (she loves to watch me play games, but especially survival horror games; and then she gets up and leaves the room when it gets too intense. LOL. I have a feeling she'll be "watching" me play the Last of Us from the bathroom)

Guess I'm not alone.

Holy shit at the introduction. Fuck, I'm so wired.

No install at all, but I guess that might have been known. Super long-ass load right at the start (2 minutes maybe).

I give up.

EDIT: Actually, I'll bite. Why, pray tell, would a corporation pay off a gaming website for a dishonest review, if not to boost/lower sales?
