Apart from the Wonderbook fiasco, I thought Sony had a pretty solid conference last year.
I'm keeping my hype in check though, although Gopher and gang here aren't making it easy.
There's no way it's about an inch wider than a DS4 and three inches taller. It out performs the XBO, and that's bigger than the original PS3.
EDIT: It's not bigger than original sorry, just wider.

Sony did okay last year, but when your competition is Microsoft showing Kinect stuff, you win by default.

Conflicting reports on this one.
Logistically it can't be with Sony's promise to support wholly offline systems.
There will be restrictions, but it doesn't seem like they'll be equally draconian.

It sure is. There's a lot of HoMM3 sounds in South Park for some reason.
Everyone's press conferences are usually disappointing because the expectations are always out of wack.
I thoroughly enjoyed the PS Meeting though.

Impossible, since they allow to play forever offline. But lets hope out No DRM campaign worked. We know they noticed, now lets hope they don't take it like MS where they did not do crap about it.
Im just all out of Hype to give right now, because I have zero faith Sony is going to stand against publishers. I want to believe it, but it "could" put them at a disadvantage. With the comments from various Sony people on twitter makes me want to hope, I just cant muster any right now.
I guess I should not be this down about it, because I can still just go PC, but I like consoles, and Sonys first party. Hopefully Sony wants no part of the shitstorm banging on Microsofts door right now.

PS Meeting was decent, especially by Sony's standards. A lot less time wasted on bullshit than they usually do.
That being said, Sony E3 has been a dead zone for several years if you're an RPG fan. It's like Sony forgot that RPGs were the foundation their entire platform was built on.
Hopefully Nomura changes that this year.
