Absolutely not.
See, that's the thing for me. I hated that (most) tournaments didn't allow items because it meant no final smashes. It sucks not being able to use an entire mechanic in a game.
If it were meter based, or damage based like the mod, and there were no option to turn it off I'd be ok with this.
To me playing the game with out final smashes is like playing SF4 without Ultras. It's strange to me.

I just want something more cartoony than Brawl.
I also want a Cel Link that's actually cel-shaded. Not gonna happen though.

What she be like the first character announced. And there are no fire emblem characrers, that is like the whole first trailer.
I would laugh my ass off at that chaos.
I'm done with Star Fox characters... we got enough. I don't really want more than 3-4 characters representing each series, else we get a ton of samey feeling characters. I'd love to see Ike removed and instead be replaced with someone more on the caster side of Fire Emblem.

She's only been in the one Adventure game though, right? I personally don't think a single appearance warrants a slot in one of the biggest games of the generation.

I think its fair , all the big guns are getting another rep most likely. Then Fire emblem is the shit now so expect 3 of those. Pikmin may be getting another dude, we are definitely getting another kong. And a slew of other stuff and possible more 3rd party characters, a blue fox is fine,
Along with that, I would doubt she would fight the same.
Wolf barely fights the same.
