Yep. Most of the characters in that series suck pretty bad anyways.

I'd much rather spend new character slots on representation from new franchises like Xenoblade. No need to scrap the bottom of the barrel on franchises that aren't relevant anymore.
 
I don't know if I'd like to see Krystal in the game. I mean, sure she was in StarFox Adventures, Command and Assault, still I can't help but see her as a Rareware IP, since she began as a character from Dinosaur Planet on the N64.

Depends on who you talk to , I am pretty sure there are bunches of f-zero fans who want more reps.

I do not really get speculating and restricting who should have limited reps, this is a cross over fighting game

He is a super popular character arguably more popular than jigs, yet he is gone and jiggs in there. To me it is illogical, why not just keep mewtwo and remove jiggs. There are plenty of very popular and very relevant characters left out or removed from smash bros. Like mewtwo, yet jiggs is still here, I think that if jiggs can still be in smash, and relevancy to her series at this point, is little to none besides existing, than everyone has a chance.

To the other franchises, there are plenty of non relevant franchises in smash. Why use that against Krystal.

Krystal has a weird
understatement
fandom but I'd rather see her in the game than Wolf, Having 3 Star Fox reps is fine with me but they all feel way to similar for my liking. Krystal with a staff would have added some variety. She's pretty much irrelevant within the Nintendo universe now but more obscure characters have shown up in the series like Ice Climbers, Game and Watch, and ROB.
 
I think it'd be cool to have a Monster Hunter Rep. MonHun/Capcom and Nintendo are great friends now. I mean if we're not getting Mega Man...

Given that the models in Melee and Brawl went in the exact opposite direction as that it would be kind of weird and offputting.

There is no question that Little Mac will be the Punch Out!! representative if the franchise gets a playable character. The main protagonist is always the first one to receive a spot on the roster, and Little Mac is deserving, but the other Punch Out!! characters would be far more interesting fighters in my opinion. I would also argue that characters like Bald Bull are the real symbols of the franchise. Regardless, Little Mac will be the Smasher if there happens to be one from the series.

I agree that the other boxers would bring a lot more flair to the game, but I have a soft spot for Mac. Whenever I win a match and see him celebrating, I feel proud of him. I want to feel that in Smash as well.

camera pans around and you can see all of the other smash regulars standing just like those figurines, sitting in circles. you get to kirby and he's sitting there all confused. the other figurines begin to break off and fight. that's some next gen shit, i'd eat that right up
 
I feel as if i'm the only one who enjoys Krystal, and would actually want her in.

That and Falco is too good to let go!

And I wouldn't mind a second rep. for F-Zero, bring on Black Shadow.

I'm still bothered that Nintendo doesn't have a trophy system for Wii U in which you earn SSB-like trophies in each game and have a shelf on the OS to put them all. Would have been so sick \m/

Agreed. Only argument that could be made for Krystal is that she is (moveset wise) the most interesting fighter that could be added from the Star Fox series. Still don't want to see her though, we already have a good amount of Star Fox characters in the game.

SF Assault's developer (Namco) is handling Smash 4 too. I'm very wary at this point.
