This one really stuck out to me look at that detail.

I really hope the hair changes or looks better in motion. This isn't a slight against Nintendo per se. Hair remains one of those things that no one seems to do super well. TressFX is a step in the right direction, but we'll see. Relative to the rest of Link's model--which looks great--the hair sticks out like a sore thumb.

I'd prefer the hair he had in the tech demo:

It looks the hair is at least somewhat dynamic.

Lucina better be the new Fire Emblem character in this game.

Lucina won't appear before Chrom. Even with the surprising reveals so far, they're still following some patterns, like no secondary characters before the main one/protagonist. Of course, Robin/Avatar could trump both if Sakurai considers him an appropriate addition. These odd additions so far actually make me more hopeful about the Avatar ending up as Awakening's representative.

Maybe... it's possible to predict when the Dojo hype might start by going off of when the Brawl dojo started...?

Nahh... I doubt it, lol.

I believe Sakurai said he'd be posting MiiVerse updates every weekday. I assumed this was confirmation that we'll get something new every day (sans weekends) just like with Brawl.

This has turned out to be one of my favorite memes of all time

For a Wii U Zelda I'd prefer that between the two, but I think the former's better suited for Smash Bros Link and fitting in the game.
This needs to be posted again: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=62304489&postcount=2996

That pretty much confirms Little Mac, Mii, and Pac-Man. Wii Fit Trainer isn't a lucky guess.
Miis in Smash Bro's would probably top Wii Fit Trainer on the weirdness scale for me. I'd welcome them, but they'd feel a bit out of place in Smash Bros to me, Little Mac playable in Smash Bros would be awesome though!

My guess? Similar to how Sakurai came out today to present Wii Fit Trainer in front of a small crowd, he'll do the same thing tomorrow for Little Mac and Mii and on the last day of E3 for Pac-Man.

Oh wow. I wonder if that article used that link as source? or was that something different?

Looks really, really awesome so far. I LOVE the outlined characters in the 3DS version, so very classy. And the character posters? Amazing.

I really hope that a female Animal Crossing villager and the male WiiFit trainer are in the game as alt costumes.

I'm dying.

Whoo boy, still reeling from the announcement. I'm so SO happy to have been wrong about Mega Man not showing up. I never would have guessed Wii Fit Trainer, she really does represent the "Casual Wii" series. I'd only worry about how she'll differ from the likes of Sheik and ZSS assuming they appear.

At least I was right about Pit getting Uprising based moves.

I love how the Villager has become one of the big "things" of E3 so far.

He's the new Christopher Robin. I love it!

Holy shit. That was way before the reveal. I think he knows something (it's the same guy who works for Gematsu).

Megaton. I could certainly believe that they've prepared quite the media showing for this week given how long they've been working on the game. Development has been longer than Brawl so... yeah.

Whether or not we'll actually also get Pacman this week... I don't know. I could see Mii and Little Mac, though!

I really really hope Mii isn't playable. We already have one bland look character (no matter how fun she will be) in the Wii Fit Trainer, no need for another one.

It does open the possibility of playable miyamoto, iwata, Reggie and sakurai...I'm torn.

Oh Snap.

Mii, Pac-Man and Little Mac. I can't really complain since I really want Little Mac and Mii in Brawl and now they are more likely to be in SSB4.

Now that would add other problem for Smash fan.

System exclusive characters and hardcore fans might not able to get what they wanted from newcomers such as Shulk, Ridley, Isaac, Takamaru and etc.

They are more likely to blame Mii and Wii Fit Trainer for stealing the spots from All Stars characters.

The problem with that is that everyone's Avatar looks different.

Wait a minute, they said the Wii U and 3DS versions would be able to play together. How would that work if they have mostly different stages? Don't tell me that they'll force to only play on that one shared stage?!?!

More reveals so soon? Honestly, I'd love to get these guys revealed asap.

Something worth considering when decrying characters like Wii Fit Trainer and Mii is that (for better or worse) they represent an entire generation's worth of new first party IP from Nintendo. That's six years of Nintendo history.

The Villager/Mario museum .gif is amazing- but is there a reference I'm not getting? (It's insane even without it.)

I like that the 3DS version has black outlines on the characters. It's a smart way to make the characters stand out more on the smaller screen.

Watch Da Birdie

I buy cakes for myself on my birthday it's not weird lots of people do it I bet
Once more, I wouldn't mind Mii, Villager, and Trainer in themselves and revealed spread out...but introducing all around the same time gives a "bland" impression, even if the characters themselves, well the two we've seen, look pretty fun.

Was so expecting Takamaru too. :/

Welp, I'm starting to have a bad feeling about Takamaru. :\

Zonic

Gives all the fucks
I feel like Pac-Man would make for a good reveal this week to be all "HEY, remember the fact that Namco's working on this game? Well, here's Pac-Man, Namco's mascot joining the roster!" Plus I want a game where ya have Mario vs. Mega Man vs. Pac-Man.
vs. Sonic if we're lucky.

Yeah, it would be nice if they revealed at least one more "hardcore" character too, on the level of Takamaru or Chrom/Lucina/Robin. That would get people happy for this.

Currygan

at last, for christ's sake
one thing that struck me is how they really making Mario a cartoon character. Look at all these different and funny expressions, lol

I still say there should be an option to use a Final Smash meter in place of smash balls. There could be options to have it fill based on damage done, attack variety/frequency, damage received, Etc.

They'll never do this because it would make the game too complicated but I thought that there should be a Final Smash meter broken into three partitions and you could turn your regular specials into EX specials that would do more damage, have invincibility frames, or make a recovery special travel farther. The meter could also be used to power up the shield kind of like Faultless Defense in GGX.

What would a Mii even do? Throw Plaza puzzle pieces? Streetpass Mario to make him check his 3DS mid-battle? Use a hang glider from Pilotwings? Summon other Miis for help?

...

I guess if they made the Mii character a fourth wall-breaking gamer like Ai from NeoGeo Battle Coliseum, I wouldn't mind.

edit:
Miis has a chance for a varied movepool though. Swords, frisbee, bow etc
Oh, right. Forgot about that, lol.
