Falco's a much bigger waste. I'd rather have Fox's rival than his sidekick. Wolf also has the more unique move set of the two.
Mii would be so boring.
I'm not sure if you're aware but Nintendo teased they had a big surprise to announce later on in the day. Some reporters waited around for 40 minutes to find out what it was. Could it be a new game announcement?
It was the Wii Fit trainer in Super Smash Brothers (lol). Nintendo are off their fucking head. I don't understand how they thought people would be really interested in this.

The two announced characters from the first party stable show they are really scooping the bottom of the barrel in my book, The Villager and in particular the Wii Fit Trainer? Lame additions. Mega Man's a good one though.
Well...Animal Crossing is one of their biggest IPs in terms of sales..why not?
Bottom of the barrel? Villager used to be one of the highest requested characters for Brawl. Just because most people gave up on him after Iwata Asks and Famitsu doesn't change how popular he was for that period in time.
oh I hope that's not the case! NOOO! Am I the only one who loved the subspace? Don't know why people hated it. Sure it wasn't the most in-depth single-player mode, but it was a lot more than I ever expected in a SSB game. I loved playing through the Subspace co op with my little sister.Lack of subspace probably....hopefully.

only negative things plsImmediately after the video Sakurai came out to talk about the game and give a hands-on presentation in a fight against Nate Bihldorff.
I have nothing invested in either character, so it's not like I'm speaking with any kind of bias. I just think Wolf is the more "important" of the two, and he also happens to have the more unique move set.My heart. Its broken.![]()
For some reason I thought this was going to have cross-platform multiplayer. Did I make that up? I'm confused as to how that will work if the two platforms have different stages. Bummer if that doesn't happen somehow, I could have swore I read that somewhere back when the game was announced.
Game looks great, otherwise. Digging the 3DS artstyle.
This is why I love Smash Bros. From the NBA thread. I'm loving all of these Smash Bros memes lol.

The announcement of Wii Fit Trainer caused Wii Fit to trend on twitter and the official site + fan sites to crash. Obviously people were interested.![]()

Megaman lives on. Lost my shit when i saw this.
And also a 3DS version of Smash Brothers... shut up and take my money Nintendo!!!

I'm really looking forward to any upgrades or improvements a new Subspace could bring.
Wii Fit Trainer made my day. My horrible, sneeze-filled day. I love when crossover fighters take the less expected route. Give us "new" characters to love.
Looks like you guys noticed all of the details I did, so I'll just list some moves that might be changed (or they're exactly the same and I don't remember correctly).
- Link's Up+B is now slower and deals multiple hits.
- Bowser's Down+B is much faster.
- Pit's Up+B appears to launch him upward now, perhaps flight is gone or weakened.
- Pit's Upperdash Arm and Guardian Orbitars (replacement for Forward+B and Down+B?)
- DK has a new spinning clothesline attack on the ground. Perhaps it's a more specialized version of his Up+B or a dash move. Doesn't seem to be locked into it as long as his old Up+B.
The animation generally seems smoother, with characters less lightly to stall in midair (such Bowser's Down+B in older games). Game also seems less floaty from what I can tell.
It's "playing it safe" because people will find returning characters more comfortable. Just look at the reactions to the Animal Crossing villager and the Wii Fit trainer. They've either been very positive or very negative, but either way they're pretty strong reactions. Do you think people are shocked that Samus or Pit are back? Will people be surprised if Wario or Meta Knight make it back? What does that even mean? Keeping characters isn't inherently "playing it safe." Brawl has maybe one or two characters that don't deserve to be in this one, and even that's stretching it.
Well, I doubt they'll keep everyone. I don't think they'll do huge cuts like I want either. I guess I just want to be surprised and to see interesting reactions since I don't really care who's in the game as long as it's fun.I'd rather they keep everyone. Sometimes "mixing it up" isn't always a good thing.
Imagine this:
Playing as Reggie, Iwata or Miyamoto
Do I need to say more?

I don't mind the idea of a more fleshed out single player experience, heck I did a lot of runs of Adventure Mode in Melee. If anything, I wouldn't mind a combination of Adventure Mode taking place in different Nintendo locations and traveling to each one with the fact Brawl had a Story Mode.oh I hope that's not the case! Still boring.
I love Wii Fit Trainer the more I look at her, I will definitely try my hand at maining her once the game comes out!
There's a decent number of Tales people on the team
I imagine they are definitely doing something with single-player
Falco should be able to glide, Wolf should be able to crawl, and they should have different Final Smashes. That would be a start.Ah. Well yes, him playing the 'villain' role and being the rival of Fox. I agree. And of course he got treated better in ofh being less of a clone. I still think they can give him completely different set of things. I use him for character loyalty. I was also pretty annoyed that he didn't get the Arwing as a FS.. Being the best pilot and all.
Loved that shot. lol
Now for Nintendo to pull a Sonic and co-develop a series reboot with Capcom.

what the fuck are you doing
Looks like more damage/power too which brawl lacked in causing some drawn out games..Yeah it does look a bit faster than Brawl, which is good!
