I can see them finding a way to create a Pair character for the Fire Emblem rep -- Pair Up being Awakening's main mechanic and all. Maybe... Chrom and Lucina?

This is brilliant. I'm imagining almost some crazy hybrid between the Ice Climbers and the Zelda and Sheik dynamic. Two characters, like Chrom and Lucina, with their own distinctive movesets with the secondary character moving in for follow-up attacks, and you'd be able to freely swap between the characters. Final Smash would be a double-procced crossover Aether from both sides of the opponent!

Where are people getting Tharja from? I've played Awakening and she's not exactly a main character or even a very prominent one. You can go through the whole game and never recruit her. I doubt she has a snowball's chance of being in.

It'd be interesting to play as a mage, though

She's obviously very popular among fans of the game. Probably 'cause she's really powerful and smoking hot.

Mega Man was hoped for, but I'll be damned if that wasn't a hell of an execution.

But the real surprise here is the Wii Fit Trainer - that was one remarkable way of playing with people's expectations - for those more involved with games, Wii Fit doesn't even register as a games, for a lot of other people the Wii was the Wii Fit/Sports machine, and this was one fantastic way of bringing both those worlds together.

And that reveal video... "oh so you're supposed to be these legends and stuff but you can't even hold a damn pose... get on my level you bums!". Lovely!

I can't wait to see what they pull off for a story mode (it MUST have a story mode, I want more brilliance that compared to this) and how they'll include her in it.
Maybe she'l train Little Mac? Maybe prevent Kirby and Pac-Man from eating each other? Become the Pokemon Trainer's Trainer?

I'm getting a 3DS for Project X Zone, but odds are I'll be getting this too when it's out for it.

As for the Namco factor, likely as Pac-Man is, I'm not too sure what kind of moves he could have...
I keep wishing instead that Namco would push for Valkyrie, even if she's not that famous in the west, although she seems to be in Japan - she's more likely to have fitting moves for the occasion, but on the other hand between Pit and the possible sword users she'd be hard to justify?...

I've heard it works well aside from some weird holding and double tapping business to use the Home and Select buttons that would be on a regular classic controller. The GC controller does have 2 less buttons than the Classic Controller. You can always use those on the Wiimote, though, I guess.

OG megaman has been out shined by newer versions of himself and zero on several occasions. And then the series kinda died off, though the entierty of how that happened is an interesting discussion and needs delving into one of these days. Kind of a phenomia.


It does, you have a character running around as marth, why not take that opportunity, to just throw them in their as marth, people who never played the game just thinks is marth. Bam its a girl now they are interested where did this girl come from what is her deal. Play fire emblem , bam sales. What about the guys who want to just play as good ol marth, oh we got you covered he is an you can play as him two with voice and everything just switch between the two.
