Yeah. And especially considering that Wii Fit sold more units than just about any other video game should be enough reason to warrant her inclusion.
People are saying that ROB and G&W as WTF characters are rational because they represent Nintendo's history, but for some reason, Trainer ain't haha.

Yup, haven't been really actively playing/hosting Brawl for quite a while, though. I've been helping a lot with organisation and such (particularly the MU charts), but I've been thinking of stepping down.
I'm not sure if I'll be joining in on the competitive scene for SSB4 either.

It must be just because the series is associated with "pandering to grannies and casuals". But hey, a character doesn't need an established fanbase as long as you can make it into someone fun to play in Smash. Look at IC.

It's the other way around. I wonder if Nintendo will allow Snake in considering Metal Gear Solid's Nintendo absences? Konami has more to gain here, not Nintendo, I am sure they can find other willing partners.

I feel like I'm the only kid who played Punch-Out! in the early nineties. There's barely any love for Little Mac in here. Not to mention the Wii version of Punch-Out was pretty damn fun.

There are so many great first party Nintendo franchises that sometimes the Punch Out!! fans get drowned out, but we are here, and we want a character in Smash.

It does, you have a character running around as marth, why not take that opportunity, to just throw them in their as marth, people who never played the game just thinks is marth. Bam its a girl now they are interested where did this girl come from what is her deal. Play fire emblem , bam sales. What about the guys who want to just play as good ol marth, oh we got you covered he is an you can play as him two with voice and everything just switch between the two.

After seeing the Mega Man trailer... just give Mega Man to Nintendo. That's a franchise Nintendo could do a lot with. YOU AIN'T USING IT CAPCOM.

I would like to see Chrom, but he kind of looks similar to Marth, who will probably be in the game again. Same with Lucina. I would love to see FE Awakening get some Smash love though.

I'm a big Metroid buff, I love the series passionately, and Ridley has been my most wanted character ever since Smash 64.
I even enjoyed Other M, and tend to whiteknight that mess much more than I should.

But if they put in Birdie/Adolescent Ridley instead of the actual Ridley, I'll flip a table. That would be a serious insult to all Metroid fans, and especially us people who have been clamoring for Ridley.

They could do something cool where he starts off as a chick and the longer he survives/ deals damage he grows into his adolescent stage until final smssh time. People would probably still be pissed.

If they did a melee like model I don't think it'd be too difficult. Sakurai also was against the animal crossing and wii series joining the roster for Brawl so things change.

First of all, he stands upright now. Second, he can RUN! In Melee and Brawl, he sort of hunkered over and trundled forward, like a tank or something, but now he has a prim and proper IMMA GUNNA GITCHA rushdown. All of his attacks seem to pop out quicker, too. Is this a new age for the King of Koopas?

I was disappointed at first (Mega Man is cool, but wanted more characters), and then Wii Fit Trainer happened! PLEASE HOLD ME DOWN.
So ignoring Wii Fit Trainer, only Akibastman and Tyeforce predicted both Villager and Mega Man.

I now kinda feel obliged to choose the default villager in New Leaf
Also absolutely loving the "villager is psychopath" angle, makes me actually like him <3

Edit: Oh and Villager getting Balloon Fighter references kills my hopes for Tingle :<

I am SO happy that Villager was confirmed, you have no idea! I excluded him from my smaller rosters, even though he was my most wanted newcomer (and has been since before Brawl), just because everyone seemed to have given up on an Animal Crossing newcomer... Dunno why everyone was so against it. But here it is! It's real!!

Mega Man was expected (and I'm still expecting Pac-Man as the other third-party character), but it was nice to see him this early! And Wii Fit Trainer was a total surprise. But after seeing her in action and seeing how great she actually WORKS, it's odd that nobody really expected her before! I mean, Wii Fit is a pretty darn noteworthy franchise for Nintendo...and the Wii Fit Trainer is definitely fit for fighting. XD It just makes so much sense! lol

Wha? Aside from having blue hair both are completely different designs. Ike being replaced by Chrom as the second FE rep would not be surprising in the least.
