I'm fairly confident you can just cancel all the downloads except for the SP file (maybe keep one of the cutscene files). They aren't actually giving the full game away, they are giving PS+ members the single player game just like they did with starhawk. Then they are throwing the F2P version of UC3 multiplayer in the download as well.Downloading it right now and it's 12GB:| I guess you're counting irrelevant multiplayer.
Edit- Wait?! You need to download the garbage MP mode for UC3 to play SP? Ugh. Fucking Sony.
Right now the download list looks like this:
Add-On:
UC3 MP French 770MB
UC3 MP Spanish 805MB
UC3 SP 3D 10.3GB
UC3 SP 2D 12.5GB
UC3 SP 11.1GB
UC3: DD Multiplayer Free to Play 4.6GB
Fucking stupid Sony fashion. What do I need just to play the SP?!
Do I really need to download French and Mexican to play the game in English?! Ugh.
Hey I haven't been able to find a definitive answer about this and can't make a topic myself to ask. Does anyone know if, without owning a PS3 or Vita, I can buy PS+ and horde games by "buying" them through the webstore at https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com ?
Or will I get a message saying something like "this game cannot be added to your account because the proper console is not associated with it"?
Just the current free ones.If I purchase a Vita with PlayStation Plus, what games do I get? Do I get the free games from the past? Or just the current month?
Any idea if I still get Uncharted? It's part of this bundle bullet points:Just the current free ones.
Just a quick question, with playsttion plus can I buy say an American membership and have the code work on my Australian account or are they region locked?

They are region locked. If you bought an US PS+ subscription you have to set up an US account.

Yes.So with the news that PS4 is going to require PS+ for online, I figured I'd ask you guys. Does getting PS+ let everyone on your console get the benefits? My wife plays games too and I'm wondering whether we will both be able to play online (separately) with one subscription on our own accounts on PS4.

Yes.
Yup they confirmed it in a recent interview with GaintBomb
With one PS+ account you'll get online multiplayer for all accounts on the PS4.
If it works the same way it does on PS3, you'll also be able to play all PS+ games on any account on the system regardless of which downloaded it.
Do we know how they're going to handle Uncharted 3 yet for this?
Hmm, for some reason the SEN website seems to think I have 3 activated PS3 systems. This shouldn't be the case, as I only have one PS3.
They're named "My PS3 System", "My PS3 System 2" and "My PS3 System 3", and don't appear to have any identification methods like serial numbers or anything like that - so I don't know which is my PS3 and which are the two I can get rid of.
Is the easiest way to solve this to just deactivate everything and then log in on the PS3 and my Vita, and everything will re-activate automatically for those two systems?
Or is it more complicated than that?
X-Com and LBP Karting isn't up yet for me (EU).
That's the plan, yes.Is XCOM going to be there for the next year?

Just deactivate all the consoles, then activate your used console manually from account management on the PS3 system itself.
Thanks, does reactivating auto-activate all games? Or do I have to download them again? As already noted, deactivate all of them and then activate the one you have.
Then change your password just to be sure.
Don't recall. At worst you probably need to start redownload to update license and then stop download. Thanks, does reactivating auto-activate all games? Or do I have to download them again?

Yeah for U3 the free multiplayer 4GB file is what stays with all games and starts the game, then you have access to everything after it starts up. The other files were stored in the Game Install Data folder mine was like 24GB, only downloaded single player file, multiplayer and 2D movie files. I guess you cut that down to Around 13GB without the all movie files but was not able to test that. Really if you have the room you really should keep that file, but could see how many with limited space just want to play it anyway they can.
Someone help me out here. PS all stars is on sale for $14 on PSN. Is this cross buy? I plan on getting a vita soon and am hoping to use every cross buy option available to me.
So in short, I can't play the single player mode on a launch 60GB PS3?![]()
Yes it's cross buy.

Yup, this is the case. I was confused for a bit when the icon didn't show up on my PS3.Yeah for U3 the free multiplayer 4GB file is what stays with all games and starts the game, then you have access to everything after it starts up. You should be able to. Start the downloads, and then your PS3 should say there isn't enough room. Then go back to the XMB and go to your download history. Download each item individually and install them. You can also skip the downloads for language packs and probably at least one of the cutscene files. (there is one for 2D and one for 3D.)So in short, I can't play the single player mode on a launch 60GB PS3?![]()
