Unfinished Swan and Soundshapes are on sale for 3.75

I would recommend both, especially unfinished swan! The first level is such a memorable experience and the whole thing reminds me of a video game version of a children's book. It's just so charming!
 
I just started downloading Uncharted 3 and the only file that appears in my Download List is the 12 Gb SP file. I guess I'll have to download the MP too, but the 2D and 3D movies are nowhere to be found, ¿is this happening to anyone else?. I just hope it can fit in my 60 Gb PS3.
 
Wait, how much space do I exactly need for Uncharted 3? I'm trying to free up space right now.

EDIT: Also, are the E3 quests working again on HOME? I lost all my progress yesterday after finishing nearly all of them.
 
I'm very tempted to pick up portal 2. Has anyone picked up the digital version? I'm curious about whether the steam version would be included with it, or if it was included as a code in the boxed retail version. I'm guessing it's not part of the digital release, but if anyone could confirm that would be really helpful.
 
I'm in Europe and having trouble finding the 2D and 3D movie packs for Uncharted 3.

I have the MP and SP components installed, but when launching SP mode I'm prompted to download/install the necessary packs which I'm unable to find on the store or in my download list.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Several people are reporting the Uncharted 3 missing files problems in the EU PS Blog. It seems they forgot to upload the 2D/3D movies, so no European can play until they fix that. Great, just great.

Izick, it is the same for everyone: 12 Gb single player, 12 Gb movies (either 2D or 3D), 5 GB Multiplayer and Spanish/French languages almost 1Gb each (both packs are optional). So you can download one file, wait for it to install and free space in the HDD, and go to the next one.

I left my PS3 downloading XCOM and LBPK knowing it would take a while. Now the fans are running ridiculously loud. The PS3 still works, but I'm concerned something's screwed and it'll die sooner rather than later. First time it ever happens.
 
im an european gamer who never did plus. i will have a ps vita soon, and im go fucking going to buy a ps4, for now i have the ps3 alone.
Do you think i can create an usa account and use it as my main for any platform? can i buy retail game for any platform or maybe for vita there is a region lock?
Can i play with wuropean friends?
I mind this cause usa plus and digital game are cheaper in dollars..
 
So I got a US PS+ code from the Home E3 promotion, but it requires a credit card and my EU credit card won't do. Would anybody be willing to do a little account sharing? It should work like this:

a) I give you the code.
b) You create a new US account and input credit card data.
c) You activate the code.
d) You delete your credit card data from the account.
e) You give me the login information, I log into the account, download the games and play them on my own account.

If you had PS+ on your account previously you'll have to create a new one anyway (these particular codes don't stack as far as I know).

Yes you can do it no problem on the PS3. Just create a US account, get PSN codes off amazon and use them to top up your wallet. You'll then be able to buy games, download them and play them on any account (EU ones too). That's what I do. As for the Vita, it's somewhat more complicated, but I don't have one, so let anybody else answer.

It's been confirmed as region free (i.e. no enforced restrictions, same as DRM) but I would imagine the physical retail to DLC relationship will be the same as the PS3. If you buy an EU copy of the game you would need the EU DLC.

Cross region play shouldn't be a problem. Some early PS3 games locked this down (including Resistance originally I think, which was patched out), but I don't see this happening this time around.

Might be safer to wait though, if you can.

If you plan on importing games from US (like the RPGs that are not in retail in EU) then why not, for DLCs and stuff. I think that PS+ is slightly better for Vita in EU though.

Yes you'll be able to play retail anywhere games, that's not region locked. DLCs are though, and you won't be able to have DLCs for a game that's not of your region I think.
 
So I got a Plus voucher code from the E3 Home thing but it's only 9 digits..not 12..what am I missing here..
 
So you really need around 48 GB free to get to play UC3 single player, am I reading that right? 24 for single player + 2D movies, x2 for the space requirement?
 
Unless it will work without the 2D movies, I believe you need a minimum of of 50GB to install Uncharted 3, as the single player and 2D movies portion combined is around 25GB and you need double that for the download and install.

Unless the issue is that current Plus members can't stack it?

Thank you for replying. I'm going to try and download this again piece-meal so I can free up some space more easily.

I just meant later quests after that, dunno if it was a reward at the end. I'll try it on a second psn account again..though pretty weird that it spits out an incomplete code.

It was indeed a code in the box on disk, after original reports saying it would simply activate when you logged into Steam. Not sure about the download version, sorry :(

36. I think.

The game and movie packs are two seperate files so you'll have 12GB for the game, 12GB for the cutscenes and a final 12GB to install to which is just temporary usage while each install happens and will instantly be recovered when the downloaded file automatically deletes after a successful installation.

Uh oh. I did that last night with XCOM and Deus Ex and haven't checked back yet. Now I'm worried. I have an 80gb MGS BC unit and don't want it to die.
 
Yeah if anyone has a working (12 digit I guess..) 1 month code for Plus they're not using, it'd be much appreciated since my code is whacked.

So I spent about 4-5 hours downloading the 40gb uncharted 3 last night and installed the single player version then went to bed. Booted up today. Finished the mp and installed that. I don't have the single player anymore under my games? I have the uncharted free to play option. I go there and it's multiplayer only. Where the hell did my 12gig single player install go?

I try and click single player in the free to play menu. It says install 2d movies? Where do I get that

Are you EU? If so it's bugged and eu players cant play single player.

Otherwise if you're US, go to your download list in the psn store and you should find the movies there.

This doesn't help me much because I wanted to extend my current PSPlus sub by 1 month since it expires in a day. I don't need a new account with it. Though if these codes can't stack on to current subs, then I'm done anyway. I wouldn't just take the code from you..I'm sure someone will help you out..maybe..

According to people in the related thread, they don't actually stack. Alright then, my offer still stands if anybody's interested!

I'm in the US. My download list had single player, multiplayer and French language pack. Installed everything. No single player :(

Edit: psn download list. I see it! Thanks! This is kind of a pain haha. But hey it's free
 
So I had already purchased U3 at launch and had redeemed the online code that came with it. I was hoping that this PS+ edition of U3 would recognize that I had bought the full version and just upgrade me to it so I wouldn't have to insert the disc anymore...it doesn't. All that install was a huge waste :(
 
Wait, how do I download the U3 stuff seperately?

I have 40 GB free right now, so I was gonna' download the SP and then the movies. Isn't it 12GB each?
