Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS: Info Collection - Dojo, Mega Man and Trailer! 2014!

I'm sure they went to the Zelda team just like last time to arrive at this Link model. I'm guessing they want it to be "future proof", so to speak, for when the new Zelda comes out.

Not saying it's indicative of the art style of the next Zelda, but it's certainly a probable model they have.

Can Geno be in this
I want Geno to be in this

I'd love to have ss Zelda instead of tp Zelda in this case...with a bowser like overhaul.

Character bullshit aside, one of my fan-fiction-y hopes for SSB is they implement smarter (less random/annoying) ways to do free for all battles or items.

For example, for a new free-for-all style mode they could have it so the four competitors are broken into pairs. In pairs they can only interact (fight) their direct opponent (with some exceptions maybe? Final Smashes? Player controlled stage hazards? w/e) and are completely unaffected by members of the other pair. Pairs would be exist for a minute or longer at a time, then switch off. Sort of a "round-robin" mode.

Has Bayonetta been discussed to be in Smash?

Because she fucking should be in Smash.

There's still a chance.
There's been a lot of talk on her inclusion between the smash community. Seems to be pretty divided on her inclusion due to the whole no Nintendo legacy thing. But considering she could be another third party left fielder with a lot of potential I'm game. Also Nintendo wants to make Bayonetta a bigger franchise so why not put her in one of their biggest games?

That actually sounds like a cool idea.
Would be cool if you could set options to determine length and maybe even rules for certain situations. Such as a opponent leading in a stick match would lead to a 3 v 1 for a set time,

Problem is that Bayonetta isn't Nintendo franchise. We don't know what would happens if it become successful.

I used to not like her character but for some reason her new haircut completely turned me around on her. I'd like to have her in Smash but they'd obviously want to her down sexually, which I'm OK with but I'm not sure if Platinum likes that.

No one wants to discuss anything else but characters; though you're not alone in wanting to discuss other things.

Your idea sounds pretty... well, similar to what commonly happens in Teams. But I get what you're saying, sort of. It'd be a little awkward, I think. But they do need more actual modes in general that aren't just items being active on characters for the whole match.

Modes like Tag Team similar to MK9 or Tekken, more modes like Stamina that change up the rules of how you get KO'd, just... more options to give us more things to do besides the standard modes they've had since SSB64 (Teams/FFA/1v1). They've been sorely lacking in this department. Special Melee/Brawl comes off as lazy and unimaginative.

I figured Namco would have a character in, but then I just looked and all their characters are shit.

Pac-Man is totally in.

There might be a Tales character maybe.

Heihachi? I don't believe them when they say no Tekken.

Or maybe Cassandra wielding Soul Calibur.

Kos-Mos in people's dreams.

Skyward Sword Link being ignored in favour of Twilight Princess Link was obvious the moment the former game underperformed dramatically.

If it is TP Link, it flies in the face of series logic, regardless of how poorly it might have sold. They've always included the most recent console Link till now. I don't think it is Twilight Link, though...it may the Link from the upcoming Wii U Zelda (which for all we know could be a sequel to Twilight Princess).

I don't know why but my favorite part was seeing bowser drop kick Mario out of nowhere. I put such a big stupid grin on my face.

We talk about quite a few things in the community thread, so imo characters is like the default we always get too.
Some ideas I remember:

-AT Mode: A mode where there's an option to choose your Assist Trophy to help you in battle. It would probably regulated through a meter maybe.
-Timed Item Spawn Locations: to add a little strategy to items
-Kind of the Hill Mode: self explanatory
-Special vs Mode for potential characters we get to level up, if that idea ever comes to fruition

YOLO man. She's getting some hype. Get her ass in there nao. lol. She would be a great addition. She makes the WFT look like a mannequin with a crap wig. :3 But that's beside the point.
