The biggest issue is the whole voice actor bit with Hayter and Sutherland. No way they'll get Sutherland to voice Snake for smash. But then again no way they'll get Hayter back to do a small role and still shaft him from the big game. But I've said before the VA stuff I think is all just trolling from kojima

I'm guessing Villager's neutral special is the Grab thing, where he takes projectiles and can toss them back. And the Wii Fit Trainer's soccerball spike looks like her neutral special. So I'm guessing those.

Talking to a friend earlier about who might return from the Brawl roster, he pointed out that Megaman has Sonics Up-B. So if Sonic does return, I wonder if his will be changed.

Not sure if it's been mentioned or not but I hope alt costumes for Mega Man are some of the colors he'd change in to using Robot Master's weapon. Like Leaf Shield he'd be green etc. That would be so cool. I mean like weapons that are in the game. Or just give us pink for Quick Boomerang look

Wasn't Sonic in SSBB a bit rushed? They probably changed his moveset a lot (if he returns).

I still think it's possible they have the option of having it so you can play as your New Leaf Villager. It would be great.

I should really play the new FE to see what all the hype behind Lucina is, because right now all I see is her being an alt. or a assist trophy. Either way, the FE debate was brought up many pages ago. If we're only considering Lords and similar units this would be our list of the more important characters:

Marth
Sigurd
Seliph
Leaf
Roy
Eliwood
Hector
Lyn
Erika
Ephraim
Ike
Micaiah
Chrom
Lucina

Don't know if Alm and Celica count, technically they are a Fighter and Priestess respectively.

Make your assumptions accordingly but I feel like at most we'll get 4 from this possible list, those hopefully being Marth, Chrom, Lyn, and Sigurd. If alternate costumes are applied in this Smash, which I hope they are given that Namco is helping to develop this and there's a shit-ton of them in tekken, then those 4 can probably have all or at least most of the other lords and any other popular characters as alt costumes. Sigurd having Eliwood and Ephraim. Chrom could probably have Ike, Leaf and Hector. Marth could have Lucina, Seliph, Erika and Roy. While Lyn might have Alm. Micaiah and Celica being the odd ones out due to both being mages.

I have a feeling they are.
While it doesn't need to be 50/50 it definitely needs more females. This is why I think "Marth" will replace Marth. Can't think of who else he'd want to throw in.

Rosalina, Kachi, Dixie Kong and Ashley Robbins are all options.

Well except Ashely Robbins, obviously.

Edit: Jody Summer from F-Zero was someone I always thought should be in, as well.

That would be horribly useless unless you're doing 3+ people.
