Club Nintendo: European Discussion

7600 stars. What to do. Already have the Mario family statue. Love Game & Watch, but it's Ball. Should've been at least Parachute, Turtle Bridge or Octopus :|

I'm in the same predicament. Many of us probably are. Would be nice if they released the second Game & Watch collection here...

I'd take Ball... I'd never use it but I plan to start a handheld collection at some point and figure it'll be a nice addition.

There's nothing I actively want in the whole catalogue though.

I have a problem, I have downloaded luigis and castlevania but linked my account after , I have a retail version of DCKR, do you think there is anyway I am eligible for the so many games promotion?

I emailed Nintendo customer services, they told me I will not get the points, but I asked about the game, have sent back another reply asking, fingers crossed.

Wanted to get fire emblem with the promotion, would I still be ok for getting the code?

That Club Aus "rewards" page, if anything worthwhile ever appears I'll probably have more stars than the night sky.

Those trophies look great, I'm so jelly :'(

I've got a load of stars saved too - I was going to buy the Snes classic controller the other day but they removed it :(

C'mon NOE give us something good on club nintendo.

It's absolutely disgusting compared to the US or Japanese Club Nintendo stores...

Yeah, the VC games, gold nunchuks, 3DS cartridge cases, 3DS pouches, that fabric storage box thing... I agree. I'd probably complain more if we didn't get the occasional free game like at Xmas and this too many games promotion (and now MonHun too).

This. I have a boatload of stars and the item on top of my most wanted list is a Yoshi themed cleaning cloth. -_-

Keep checking back hoping for those neat (3)DS gamecard cases.

Seems like NoE is uniting it's outsourced branches.

feels good to be finally part of
No
Europe

text in german, obviously
www.ntower.de/News/28751-Am-1-Juli-startet-der-Sterne-Katalog-auch-in-%C3%96sterreich/

now... how can I transform my german account into an austrian?

hopefully, this means that:
a) more countries get to be part of club nintendo of europe
b) a restock for the star shop is on it's way

btw: I ordered my 3 games from amazon for the 4 for 3 promotion, but one of them has been out of stock for the last 3 weeks and it doesn't look like they*ll get it any time soon. anyone willing to lend me a 3rd code? (until mine arrives). already got 2 games - fire emblem+castlevania (I ordered them together, but now I can't cancel the 3rd one... even asked there support, they couldn't help me either)

Can I ask a favour? I have 300 points on Wii but I need 500 for a game. I thought of using star points but the problem is I need 750 stars. I have only 50... Would someone be kind enough to give me any spare code? Sorry again for starbegging and if this is offensive for any reason, I'll delete the post. Thanks in advance.

I posted this in the 'So Many Games' thread but figure it's worth a go here:

I've ended up with a Monster Hunter code and two Fire Emblem codes...

Would anybody be willing to trade one of my Fire Emblem codes for another eligible game please?
I'll be your best friend!
I know you posted this a while but do you still need to trade a code? I should have two Animal Crossing codes tomorrow.

Do you know if I can use American VIP codes for the european "so many games" promotion?
I want to buy a 3DS XL next week and don't want to miss out on the promotion, but I don't have enough money to buy 3 games at once, so one game and 2 codes should suffice - but! european VIP codes are pretty expensive right now.

You can't.

Shit. Are any other european countries ok, or do they have to be from germany?
Any EU Club Nintendo code should work on any EU CN account, e.g., you can register a German version to a UK account or vice versa. Same goes for digital download codes. eShop point cards work if the countries share the same currency.

Australian codes no longer work on European accounts.

Thanks.

You wouldn't know, where I could buy two codes at a reasonable price? ebay prices go nuts with 13-15 EUR for a Animal Crossing code. For that kinda money, I'd just buy the game and not two codes.

if you spent stars, it spends the oldest ones first right? I have maybe 500 expiring in a couple of months, then the rest (about 4000) I have another year on

A friend is going to miss out on the So Many Games promo because he bought Fire Emblem digitally before linking his 3DS to his CN account. Nintendo Spain isn't willing to link it for him.

Does anyone know a way to get my hands on a code for him?

I have a unregistered 3DS code left that will make you eligible for the Monster Hunter gift campaign (and is worth 1000 stars iirc). Does someone have a So Many Games code other than Monster Hunter and Donkey Kong available who is willing to trade?

Friend of mine got a 3DS yesterday and tried to register to Club Nintendo - but apparently the registration process is deactivated for now ? Is this the first time this happened ? Hope this wont affect the " So Many Games" promotion since he bought LM2,MH3 and Fire Emblem to get Animal Crossing 4 free.

It is supposed to. However, earlier this year someone had stars expiring. Bought stuff and still lost the stars. Also we recently had someone whose stars were expiring 12 months after registration as opposed to 24...

Who knows if those things are fixed or not. I'd say we should assume oldest first.

So, are CN going to change the Nintendo Points cards for eShop credit cards any time soon? I mean, the only two consoles that use them are obsolete since some time now.

I think the So Many Games thing is the only acknowledgement they're going to give EU CN this year. It's pretty insulting we haven't got the ability to trade in for eShop games/credit yet.

I can't seem to find the survey for New Super Luigi U anywhere, it's not showing up in my list of registered games or anything but my Wii U account is definitely linked to my Club Nintendo account.

I doubt DLCs shows up in the CN account. Zen Pinball DLC tables purchases don't show up, and NSLU is just DLC technically.

If anyone would want to sell a vip code for one of the applicable games for the "so many games" promotion, I'd gladly take it off your hands (3DS is arriving today or tomorrow and I have only money for one more full game with it).
Either for paypal or a steam game or something like that.

I know there is a dedicated thread for these things, but since I tried that and it is mostly frequented by US/Canadian gafers, I'll try here one more time too.

While the Star Catalogue is kind of bad, we got 3 amazing 3DS promotions in the span of less than 1 year, so I can't really complain too much.
I would love to exchange stars for DD codes or eShop credit like they can in NA, but I will take free games over it.

Speaking of promotions, the "So Many Games" thing ends tomorrow night, right? (30th June)

It's all on the Nintendo website, buddy: http://www.nintendo.co.uk/Misc-/Nin...Terms-Conditions/Terms-Conditions-750395.html
