Would anyone else like some new Zelda characters, in addition to the same old Triforce?

My picks:

I would be fine with non-triforce characters. The only problem is avoiding flavor of the month ones.

Tingle to me would be the most likely since he's been in several games and has had a few spinoffs. On the other hand Nintendo seems to have killed him off and swept him under the rug due to people hating him.

Impa could be a good choice as she's been in 5 Zelda games and in some of them held a pivotal role. Only problems are that she never has a consistent design as her look in a lot of the games was a dimwitted, overweight, busty woman and her two viable designs would be extremely similar to Sheik.

Midna would be the last viable choice to consider as a companion with Wolf Link. The only problem I see with it is Brawl was really the best chance to do it and they passed it up. However, Sakurai now seems more open to revamping characters so he might do it. It'd be a kinda cool unique thing to the series if only and all Zelda characters in SSB had transformations. Zelda would have Sheik, Link would have Wolf Link/Midna, Ganondorf would have Ganon and toon link/y. Link had the pink bunny or something Majora related(Fierce Diety or Deku Link). It'd also make them more viable characters since Ganondorf, Zelda and Link are towards the bottom of the tier list.

Today I learned that its humanly possible to like Bowser Jr..
And I was horrified.

I don't like or dislike him but I wonder why people dislike him so much. He's had some of the best boss battles in the entire series (SMG2), been in tons of games and his character isn't anything different from usual Mario fare. I figure itit's either being associated with Sunshine or people still hold this notion that his presence somehow stops the Koopalings from appearing which are overated at this point(they were cool in SMW, SMB3 and M&L but have been mediocre bosses since then).

On the other hand Nintendo seems to have killed him off and swept him under the rug due to people hating him.

Nintendo of America, perhaps.

He's actually gotten several little downloadable titles, particularly a Balloon Fight clone (not the actual DS one) and the "Tingle Pack", both of which were released in Japan as DSi Ware. The latter was released in 2009.

However, with Villager having a Balloon Fight-based move, I'm not certain about Tingle's fate for smash.

I did like him Sunshine though, and I'd like him even more if he was incorporated more from a story standpoint like he was in that game (the final cut scene with him and Bowser having a father/son talk is one of my favorite Mario moments).
