Hey, Unreal. Love your shots, but do you take screenshots normally at 1080p? I notice Aliasing, and I was wondering if you downsample much. Some of these would be desktop material if not for the aliasing.

These are old (from 2012) and i took them @ only 1080p (some at 1440p) without proper AA.

From today and @ 3840x2160

I was playing Skyrim with about 162 mods installed + ENB + Downsampling. Game only crashed when I went into the character selection screen via "ShowRaceMenu." Otherwise it was pretty stable. Just gotta make sure it doesn't go too high on RAM usage.

with all those mods installed (over 200 i think it was ) is the game still playable or/ and stable ?

i thought i heard it chrashes easily.

Where did you read i have over 200 mods installed? i only have around 50...

Im not having any CTD problem, this happens when you don't know what are you doing... :_D

oh sorry about that i got you confused with someone else who was running 200 mods

never mind. :)

Yeah, and they removed 8xMSAA support unfortunately. I had a sweet spot with the 484 build of 4k and 8xMSAA somehow running at about 30fps, but now its goooonne. The sorrow. Does 4k work without DS9x?

Can't get it to start at all, regardless of settings at 4k :/

Guys i need some help.

can anyone tell me or even better make a tutorial in the compendium for how to make screenshots of Crysis 2 without the hud and without a weapon and a free cam if possible ?

thanks in advance .

I believe most of the C3 commands for such things are useable in c2. Perhaps you could do some testing to confirm and then make a post if this is true? (I don't have c2 installed right now)

Edit: and Neo posted a C3 tutorial.

Hi all. Let's just say I'm a looooong time lurker (damn that admittance process), who is now able to occasionally show off what appeals to me in games. The fact that I can now 'oooh!' and 'aaah!' officially feels like a burden lifted.

I will try to contain myself. Also, I hope nobody minds a bit more Fallout here and there.

Welcome Midhras! I don't think I'll ever tire of your Fallout 3 shots.

I'm just curious about the Max Payne 3 screenshots.

I can't run anything over x2 MSAA. It just becomes extremely sluggish, especially at the menu - the mouse starts to move slower around the screen if you understand what I'm trying to get at. While x2 MSAA works wonderfully @ 2560x1440 maxed out.

Is there a reason I cannot run x4 MSAA or x8 MSAA smoothly even with a GTX Titan?

It's unfortunate that while you can make FO3 look pretty good you can't mod it into a good game.

I don't disagree. I don't actually play the game as it was meant to be played, though. I am rather content just wandering the Wasteland and D.C. Ruins, letting my imagination run rampant, and just taking in the sights. Which there are, and plenty of them.

And then, some of the modded questlines and world mods are quite good.

Anyway to make New Vegas look good?

i couldnt remember the console command for the weapon :( should have written it down) . oh well.

Also im kinda in a bind here . not sure if it is because of the mod but playing with the resolution too much freezes the game so now i am torn between playing at a crappy framerate but with bullshot settings and 60 fps goodness with jaggies .

sigh. wish the 880 would be out soon .would set everything to bullshot settings and be done with it.

Last of my F:NV spam. It's all quite WIP as of yet. Before I focus on getting NV to look good (arguably harder than FO3!) I want to finish up on my latest FO3 ENB work.
Also, I'm going to have to tell my Science for Public Understanding students that Feynman just woah'd at me. Dream come true. Thank you.

Nice shot. Is that the G-Man?

It is indeed, and the Cinematic Version of him, no less!

That mod not only makes character creation a joy, but also there's an optional file that disables the caching that causes crashing on character create. Haven't crashed from that since. The file is call disablefacegencache or something.

I posted this over on one of my Tumblrs, but I liked it enough to put here.

Here's a bit of what I said on the post

So I was experimenting with playing games at 24fps+Motion blur to see if it really does feel acceptable for playing games since it’s the reason people say 24fps movies and TV shows feel normal - the motion blur.

It also helps that with having such low FPS demands, I can juice games to ridiculous degrees.

When I saw the shot I took was really impressed with the way the lighting looks on her skin, as well as the sense of realism you get from the skin due to the texture work. It’s nothing too exciting, but I really like the way Lara looks in this particular shot. It also helps that TressFx makes her hair look really, really good when compared to most video game hair. I like this.

For what it's worth, after my little experiment, 24fps gaming is the pits.

woah woah woah.... 4k+SSAA AND TressFX?

Why no blur?

What card are you using?

I can't go above 1620+2xSSAA without blurry hair syndrome on my GTX 780...
