I actually prefer the original LBP levels to the sequel's, which are a lot more gimmick (vehicle) based on average.

Little Big Planet is awesome - I got the first one free due to Sony's PSN hack fiasco, the second one free when I signed up on PS+, and Karting just this month from PS+. Girlfriend loves playing the games (though she has to collect every sticker, which is... interesting). Pretty awesome games.
 
So...I just finished downloading the UC3 F2P from PS+ and I'm getting ads but my character is Lv.39 as I left it on my retail version.

Do you have to pay for the uncap even in PS+ or what? Oh and Youtube ads. :C
 
If tomorrow they announce Saints Row 3 for EU + I'm gonna feel like an idiot for expending half an hour at Home for the trial code jajaja.

Anyway, I have already installed the game, so I'll give a try now.
 
may I remind you all of the free 14 day trial for Asia ps+ (no card needed).

a handful of titles are up for grabs, even more if you're on vita.

I used singapore as a region, just google it and the code will come up quickly.

Why doesn't Sony give me the option to half the resolution so it at least looks closer to how it would look on the PSP? Surely that wouldn't be hard to implement
or give me the goddamn native option
and would make us purists that hate blown up blurry jaggy/pixely messes happy.
 
I'm hoping that DMC for August is legit and it comes to the US. I really want to play that game and planned on buying for my 360 once I beat some more games I actually own. Getting it for free would be very nice. Is there any kind of method anyone has figured out on when or what games only stay in a certain country?
 
For the people who might be interested, the Japanese PSN will have a PS+ campaign starting today. Free 15 day PS+ voucher for everyone and 1000 yen voucher for anyone buying a one year subscription.

Interesting, but won't you need a japanese credit card associated with your account in order to use the voucher?

Last time I used a JP trial, it didn't require a CC. IIRC, auto renewal was disabled from the get go which is why it didn't require a CC.
 
The info I saw here about the 1-month Plus promo code you can get from Home not working on lapsed accounts wasn't true, I applied it and it gave me a free month. So everybody log into Home for the first time in 5 years and get that code! Its in the E3 zone quest list.

And there's a new 123 Gem Collection of PS1 games available for one year starting now. Games are not crazy good but there are a few interesting ones.
 
i may a bit biased since i only own the PS3.. but for me its definitely the PS3... unmatched exclusives with great variety.. and PS Plus of course..

Yes.

I think multiplayer progress in the Bluray version and in the free-to-play version are kept separate as well. Aren't you capped at level 15 if you didn't buy anything?

for some reason i cant download Saints Row The Third in the background. All the other games i can, but i'm never given the option for it. Anyone else have that issue? I dont have a great connection and not sure how long that would take, so cant just let it sit at the store all that time.

Yeah, I saw that. The Game Archives selection isn't that good overall. Maybe I'll play Kula World for nostalgia lol.

No, it downloaded fine in the background for me but I've gotten weird random issues like that before. Try canceling the download and retrying it.

hmmm i guess its all the games now. I tried restarting them, but still nothing :( oh well, i'll try again in the morning maybe. Never had this problem before.

I believe June's content had already been announced before that picture surfaced.

They were spot on for June because the picture appeared after the June update...
 
Well we know its official from Fred, I'm guessing they used the minis icon because when the slide was put together there was no artwork for Revitalised. But yes, anything could have changed since then :P
 
If it's legit and just old, then it could be the same games but there's some stuff missing. It's usually three PS3 games, not two.

I still don't expect it to be two retail Vita titles, though. Expecting one retail and one new-ish indie. Gimme Hotline Miami!
