I don't watch football, but didn't I hear the NFL created rules banning celebrations like this years ago after the TO autograph stunt? Or am I thinking of video games?

Edit: looked it up and I guess it's fine as long as it doesn't include the ball, short of spiking it

No, that was about elaborate celebrations like Chad Johnson and T.O. were doing. The celebration in that gif is nothing.

I just found out he shot some guys eye out a few months ago, the fuck is wrong with this guy? New contract, posh life about to go down the drain

God damnit Aaron, you better be innocent, you shit.

Tragic that somebody was killed and all, but speaking as a Pats fan, I fully expect Jake Ballard to drown in a bowl of Cheerios or something now. Thank god we have Tebow!

Well, looking at what we know so far.. if he didn't pull the trigger he sure as fuck knows who did and is connected in some way, shape, or form.

What we do know:

GF's sister's BF is the one dead.
Died execution style to the back of the head.
A SUV rented to Hernandez found close to where body is found.
Body is found a mile or so from his home.
Was known he was out with victim and 2 others the night of the murder.
He left a bar with victim and 2 others, only him and the other 2 came back to his home.

I'm not getting my hopes up, I know.

They're going to love a tight end in prison.

He sounds like a terrible person.

Condolences to those affected.

I will say this though: This is great for football fans. Tebow gets a legit shot at making the team now.

hay guys wouldnt it be funny if this mans anus was forcibly penetrated by other mens erections, thus causing him profound anguish and lifelong emotion trauma, thereby fulfilling our unwholesome longing to use our penal system's ostensible goal of rehabilitation as a pretense to inflict brutal vengeance upon wrongdoers?

yeah that would be great

I take offense to your grammar inaccuracies, my dear sir.

You guys know the best way to deal with those kinds of comments is to just completely ignore them, right?

I'd rather discuss the issue at hand then countless side discussion about a stupid comment someone made that'd you probably heard already from your friends or some random guy at the office.

Question, why on Googlemaps is North Attleboro spelled Attleborough.. are they the same place.. and now my West Coast biased mind never realized that Foxboro was a decent drive away from Boston as well.

how dare you, ill have you know i have walked by several of my countrys most prestigious universities, indeed i have nodded in the general direction of no less than three celebrated professors of rhetoric, i demand you retract this calumny at once

good day

Same as the nfl thread pats hate is strong, when in reality the dude might have KILLED somebody. Who cares what team he plays for!?

I'm a pats fan, and people will call me salty, but I don't give a shit, if the guy did it get him outta here, he doesn't belong in the nfl. Unfortunately Marvin Harrison and Ray Lewis have proven it doesn't matter what you've done in the past.

Rape culture! right neogaf?

Oh wait my bad this is a patriot, nevermind. Carry on.

Fixed.

Anyways on an even sadder note, he just recently had a kid. The amount of lives ruined from this particular incident is really depressing. Really seemed like Aaron was an ok guy who ran with the wrong crowd, and he seemed genuinely changed by how thankful he was for the opportunity.

What if it was about some weed? You Colorado hippies will all turn into cold-blooded killers eventually! Fear the reefer!
Well, unless he is a drug lord selling pounds of dope, the idea the weed leads to murder is reefer madness level conspiracy theory stuff.

Welker... Something...Something

I always wondered why just because of a little weed a guy of his talent he fell to the 4th. Clearly there was more to the story and everyone else bounced all around him. Dennard falls into a similar category and will serve his time next year, either way looks like they made the right call with Aaron here.

Probably was a risk to draft a guy like that too early because they could easily be suspended if testing positive for THC/MJ. Unfortunately, for many parties involved it is much more than a little weed. I truly hope he is not directly responsible. Things look bad.

I don't know enough about this particular case to comment specifically, but in general, there's a point at which running with the "wrong crowd" makes a person not "an ok guy."

I mostly would agree with that, but I'm saying he ran with that wrong crowd prior to coming to the NFL where he may have been straightened out. All his comments on how Bob Kraft saved his life and that he was having a kid and life was real now etc etc.

According to Ross Tucker several teams passed on him because of gang affiliation.

I hear ya man. Between this and Kraft partying with Jay-Z and other stuff its been a bit hard to be a Pats fan lately.
