i have yet to read an article that proved you could only share 60 minutes of play. I've seen the conspiracy theories of 'oh you have to check in every 60 minutes as opposed to 24 hours ooooh that means 60 minutes of gameplay', that can be pointed to the fact that the family members are using someone else's game... a game that can be given to someone else at any given time or shared with any of ten people.
If it only checked every 24 hours, one person could block the game from being used by others for a full day, rather than logging on for an hour, hopping off, and making it available for someone else.
Just going out on a limb and giving MS the benefit of the doubt. Why? Everyone is on the hate train. Maybe they were trying to do something fucking cool, rather than trying to fuck the consumer like everyone seems to think.

I really don't get the prevalence of the angry video game critic thing. It feels like the same kind of schtick that Dane Cook pulls though. I guess it's some kind of false sincerity that makes things come across as more passionate or valid.
The points aren't bad though. Would be better to hear them in a normal tone.
Yep, MS responded to the numbers, not gamers. However, the pressure from that mounted from a combo of Sony and an informed and outraged public outcry that had snowballed from the #NoDRM movement. Angry Joe posted his support of the movement in that thread. He isn't taking credit for anything in his video, he specifically states early on that this was a result of EVERYONE who raised their voices pressuring MS.
I don't doubt they thought it was a great feature. But it could never have worked the way people were so excited for.
It's an act for his YT channel. He seems to be a pretty cool guy otherwise. Why are you making assumptions about him?

I don't understand the hate for Joe. He is great for gaming, he's the gamers everyman with a massive passion for gaming. Love AJ great video as always.
One is a personal relationship and one is a business one. Don't get me wrong, I have a PS4 preordered and might get an xbox next year during the holiday season but that doesn't make me any less upset.

Angry Joe is an internet character, like avgn, but if you ignore his shtick, he's a reasonable, enthusiastic and a pretty likeable person, he asked what a lot of people on the internet wanted to ask in the interviews, so naturally people likes him because he's being honest.
I don't really watch his rant videos (I don't find him funny), but I find him to be pretty likeable.
I don't see it, he seems like a genuinely nice guy in the major nelson interview.

MN damaged his rep by losing his temper with AJ, but at the end of the day he was just trying to do his job - not that it excuses him for how he acted. I'm sure he's a nice guy when he's not in PR mode.

Angry Joe to me is just a title. If I had to name him, it'd be Passionate Joe. Don't always agree with him, but he's got good points to bring up a lot of the time (in things I might've over-looked at times too), and he won't mince words with his feelings.
His railing on Xbox One parts 1-3 has probably been my favorite of his work. Of all the "angry" personalities out there, I only really pay attention to a few. Joe will be one of them.

You gotta love this guy, his passion shows through with all his videos. And his angry persona is really nothing but an exaggeration. A lot of his videos are actually thoughtful, intelligent and reasonable. I don't like many of the games he reviews but I do enjoy watching them.

Of course they shouldn't. They shouldn't get any praise whatsoever. But, it seems some people want a new Xbox no matter what and are blinding by their fanboy desires.
The dude is passionate, and most importantly, as humble as they come when face to face with the other people.

CBoat confirmed it was only a 60 minute demo. The Family sharing plan, and sharing your digital games with friends, was all deception and smoke and mirrors.

there was a problem and now it's not there anymore..if someone want to trust microsoft and recompensate them because of the 180 they are free to do so,personally,i'll just wait on the fence for a while before going next gen.
also,is someone do something positive and you decide to not change your idea anyway because of grudge,you are sending the wrong message to the industry,next time they will change jack shit if that doesn't reflect on sales/pre-orders.
