I don't think it was on by default, you had to go toggle it in the control settings.

If you look at all the stages shown so far for the 3DS version, you can easily infer that the game will feature 3D. Especially the Super Mario 3D Land stage, which has approaching platform hazards.

To be honest, when I read that "I'm deaf" quip, I wasn't sure if it was serious or a sort of sarcastic "sorry for mishearing something; clearly I'm going deaf" kind of remark.

My first attempt to try Kingdom Hearts out.
I didn't like it. Did like the first two mainline ones, though, so I guess CoM just wasn't my thing.

Let me clarify why deaf people usually have bad grammar.
Sign Language is great language for deaf people to communicate to each other. It is a total other language where it is NOT English. To come to think of this, when you speak to someone who is from China or India, is their English grammar great? No, because English is their second language. Deaf people depends on facial expressions, body language and gestures. They also use space around their body that would become involved in their "grammar". There's hand shapes, classifiers, and too many things to list. As for the grammar itself it does not follow English's grammar. For instance, when you say in English "I'm going to the store." In ASL, you would be saying "Store I'm going". (the the, to and all that fun things is involved in there as well, you just don't see it.) Hearing people have early access to language as well because when hearing people first are born they can hear all the language that would be around them. For Deaf people, they have late access to the language and are playing catch-up since they did not have the access to the speech. English is based on the speech and phonics. ASL is based on all that I mentioned above, but it does have phonics as well. It just is not verbal. I'm not great at expressing my opinion though English/text because it's hard to get my facial expressions and body language across. I can express my opinion very well through ASL.

but oh my im so stoked for smash. love the art direction and megaman looks perfect. villager and wii u fit girl are perfect additions. and i love that it's not going to be as casual as brawl, I really hope they go for a one directional air dodge (although i really doubt it). thank you based sakurai for making the speed faster and taking out tripping

Dude, being deaf has its benefits though. Your visual acuity must be astounding; I could see how it could be awesome for games.
All in all, just another fascinating way to see the world, imo

We're getting something between Melee and Brawl so i'm happy. I can't imagine trying to wavedash on a 3DS lol. Controllers can be replaced but if your 3DS starts to go bad..
I also remember thinking it was Intellihealth back when I was lurking the UMVC3 prerelease threads. Atleast until he got the "as in Heathcliff" tag...
To stay on topic:
I'd really like to see Lyn in this game. She was an assist trophy in Brawl, so that's gotta mean something for her chances.
She would be a good Fire Emblem rep and could represent the first fire emblem game that came out in the US.
