That wouldn't make any sense. Why would he summon an enemy for his Final Smash? A stage hazard, Assist Trophy, or boss are all more sensible guesses. That's one hell of a stage hazard. More likely it's his final smash.

Subspace Emissary would have been a huge hit if a) it used classic baddies from across Nintendo instead of the baddies from Kingdom Hearts' cutting room floor and b) it was a bit more Metroidvania and a little less kill room brawler.
I might be a minority here, but I actually liked SSE (the idea and the gameplay... the enemies could have a little work).
The Mario games are starting to blur together in my head, chop off the Tokyo or whatever.Huh, you know EAD Tokyo never made a NSMB game!

1) You build the game for whatever resolution you're going for. Nintendo did 720p for NSMBU. Whether it can possibly run at 1080p, who knows? They made it targeting a 720p resolution for whatever reason.
2) Namco is making this, not Nintendo.
But they have Namco helping them out.
cause wii u is weak as fuck
shit I forgot about the magical tech wizards working at Namco helping out on the game
smash u will be 1080/60 for sure
Tell me, will you feel like an ass at all if it does end up being 1080/60? Considering we have more evidence pointing to that conclusion than not, I'm not sure why you're being such a dick about it.
yup
I have a hard time believing they can get a game like Smash running at 1080p/60fps when they couldn't even get NSMBU to do that...
You are joking right?
NSMBU being 720p now determines what can and can't be 1080p?
Are you now saying The WW remake which is 1080p is less demanding than NSMBU?
X as far as we know is 720p, so NSMBU is as demanding as X?
MK8 is 720p, NSMBU = MK8 then?
We have a 1080p screenshot and the 720p screens according to the people with press kits have downsampling artifacts that indicate they are not at their original resolution.
I might be a minority here, but I actually liked SSE (the idea and the gameplay... the enemies could have a little work).
my only complain about SSE was the ending... Sonic saving the day a la "Deus Ex Machina" was like reading a bad fanart from deviantart.
wind waker hd is running at 1080p 30fps
nsmbu was 720p 60fps
mk8 will be 720p 60fps
not sure about X. 720p 30fps?
I'm near certain the wii u can't pull off 1080p 60 fps for a game like smash bros.
not at all
of course I'd be happy if it's actually rendered at 1080p
i just find it very hard to believe considering what has (and more importantly has NOT) run at 1080p on the wii u thus far

Well in any case, if it does happen, I'll look back at you and laugh and I hope you have the good humor to admit you were being a bit of a doofus. Like I said, there's more actual hard evidence that you're wrong here and you're making your claims based on gut feeling, not facts.
I hope so too.I really hope that there is a setting where we can turn off stage hazard for tournament purpose.

From the videos they showed it seems like there will be enough stages with no hazards that it shouldn't be a problem. Smashville 2, Megaman stage, boxing arena, etc.
What Stages would you like to see return from previous smash games?
I'll be dissapointed if they don't incorporate the randomly appearing/disappearing blocks in some Megaman stage. The Mega Man stage probably has significant stage hazards if the Yellow Devil and transforming platform stuff is anything to go on.
I'm inclined to agree. Nintendo would be stupid to not support this game with DLC, they'd practically be printing money.aaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllll of them
do it as dlc i don't give a fuck

with the 64 stages I hope they actually remake them graphically
the fighters will look so weird fighting on N64 modeled stages if they just straight port them
I'm pretty sure it's because of the reflections.Mmmm a graphically updated Fountain of Dreams would be glorious. Why they put in Green Greens over Fountain of Dreams in Brawl is beyond me.

I could see that leading to some cool potential for stages, like combining rhythm games (Harmoknight, Rhythm Heaven, Ouendan/EBA, Band Bros/Jam with the Band, etc.) or if it's out by then, Yarn Yoshi with Kirby's Epic Yarn.I would be cool with PSABR's meshed stage, but only for few situation like
Yoshi's Cookie x Puzzle League (Lip's game) where you can see Lip and Yoshi duking it out in background with their puzzles.
My gut feeling is telling me that Yellow Devil is a stage hazard for Mega Man, so I'm hoping for stage hazard switch feature so I can use Mega Man stage for tournament.

Man, we've really run out of things to talk about if we're arguing about what resolution the game will be rendered in. It'll be a huge improvement even if its only in 720p.
What Stages would you like to see return from previous smash games?
The new Smashville has me optimistic that they'll include stages that are the best fit for a franchise regardless of whether they already appeared in a past Smash Bros. For instance, Shadow Moses Island and Green Hill Zone are the most logical stages from Metal Gear and Sonic, and I'd hate for them to be ditched in favor of less iconic locales just for the sake of differentiation from Brawl.

For some reason I remember someone explaining that to me pre-Brawl that the stage would probably not be in due to the complicated reflections that would have had to be remade for Brawl.

Was linked this, after seeing it I now want the Duck Hunt dog in the game.
