Naked vita for over a year - no scratches or marks at all :) you just gotta handle with care

On a unrelated note I bought HM and tekken 6!

Taking a bit to get used to HM on a pad but works well
 
Vita does not need a screen protector. Go check out the display model at your local Target and you will likely find it to be scratch free despite heavy usage.
 
yeah naked devices all day. i keep it in a case while traveling.

just started uncharted on my morning commute - damn this is one great looking game

I don't think that one has moved around or been in very many bags/pockets.
 
I always get screen protector even for my phone. I hate it when it is very dirty with my or other fingers on it. And just to reduce scrathes and what.
 
I had a naked Vita until the release of Persona 4 Golden and only because the game came with a nice looking faceplate. But I didn't have any scratches on the screen prior to that, then again I kept it in a case.
 
my vita decided to start playing tricks on me...again.

first started happening when I was playing PSO2 on the japanese servers. it would say low battery, show me a red icon, then back to normal. wouldn't be a big deal but it gives me like 7 notifications in a 3.5 minute span, but will be at like 50% battery.

have no idea what to do about this. it went away for a while, then started rearing its ugly head last night and today

Sounds like it could be problem with some kind of battery connection.
 
I have to complain about the cost of Memory. I have already filled up my 16 gig with psp and ps1 games so now I am looking for a 32 gig card. The Vita is an amazing system with a lot of great games I don't know why people are complaining about a lack of library. Honestly if you just like rpg's you can fill up a 16 gig memory card in no time with the selection of games PSN has.

I don't care that Sony uses a proprietary card I care that they charge an arm and a leg for it.

Oh and the Jak collection plays well if anyone is interested in another opinion. Yes it slows down in some places but it is honestly great and if you have never played the games and are even slightly intrigued you need to spring for it I doubt there will be disappointment in the purchase.

Let's see:
Ace attorney 123 - better on the ipad mini since it'll be cheaper

Ghost trick (same creator as ace attorney) brilliant game and concept
^ there's for ds and ipad but AA and GH first levels are free on ios. that way you can see if you like them before spending money.

Corpse party - PSP. mainly visual novel with some horror stuff. there's the first one, made with rpg maker and book of shadows.

of all this i would recommend ghost trick for the art and interaction.
If you want to go trough a cool long ride and stories try ace attorney.
 
Definitely not the right thread but since I a cant open threads (Junior) and this is the only thread I follow daily on Gaf I thought I'd ask you guys.

Downloaded a couple of PS1 games in the last time. I am from Germany, I have a german account. The Problem is that some Ps1 games like Metal Gear, Soul Reaver ... only come with the german audio-synchro, I want to play them in English.

Problem: Vita-One-Account only. To buy a second memory card and change it regulalry is too much. Also I'd love to keep all my games on one Account.
Should have made a UK-Account a year ago, now its several hundred Euros too late.

I understand that the original german version for example for Metal Gear must be Sonys Main Focus on the german market. And the original german version does not include English. I understand that.

But why can't Sony upload both versions of the game and give me acces to both?

I know that is a problem only a small amount of people will support, but I thought maybe one of you could give me some advice in which way I could bring this best to Sonys attention.

A bit late in replying but holy! I think Vita is single handily survived by you and a few others guys :0

Most of my vita library consist of PS plus, outside of that i only own Gravity Rush , P4:golden, AC3: better than the real AC3 edition and PS All Stars if i am not wrong ( not including psp and ps1/psn games that are cross platforms )

Even my 3DS library combine with my vita library cannot beat your 54, i am sure my ds or psp library can but its the end of gen for each of them......

You really love the vita man.........

Oh man, VLR is the game I've always wanted and didn't even know I wanted.

I'm fucking hooked on this damn game like crack.

This vita has created another black hole that eats my hours away like P4G did when I first got my vita.

I second this. The official screen protector went on my Vita better than any screen protector I've used on any device ever.

You don't need one. Just buy a case to put it in when you aren't using it instead. I hate the look and feel of screen protectors too.

I've never scratched any of my devices and i've never once used a screen protector. (or in the case of my DS and 3ds, using absolutely nothing because it just closes anyway.)

Well I just imported MotoGP 13 from amazon.co.uk. Hope it's gonna be good. Also my first time ordering from an European branch of Amazon, fingers crossed on shipping times and customs charges.

In related news my Muramasa Rebirth just shipped, yay. I was afraid I'd have to wait like a month or something.

currently it's the wolf. i think his name's dennis. let's you start with a knife. sometimes i use the rabbit (graham) so i can be quick. sometimes i use the one that makes your fists deadly (tony the tiger). and of course rasmus when i'm hunting puzzle pieces. right now though it's mostly dennis. love the knife.

Lots of love for Dennis. I generally use Tony so my punches are 1 hit kill and I don't have to worry if I go into a crowd about people getting back up.
 
Don Juan if I want to use zero guns and have an easier time of it.

but ma favorite by far is Carl for the drill. Makes the game much harder but my god, 120k on a level is SWEEEEEEET!

I was just reading that the drill should have been patched to lower scores because it used to give ridiculous point totals... do you know if that's applicable to the Vita version?

Love the guy, but it's only setting him up to be a target.

idk, i get like 1200 pts for a finish and nothing really comes close to that consistently. you just have to make sure they are sprawled out and not laying against anything, as then he'll use a body part and drop the drill

the police mission with nothing but the drill except for the "boss cage" is GDLK

I haven't gotten that far on Vita yet, been too busy trying to 100% AC3L first with small bouts of Hotline Miami.

Could be useful to know though -- I plan on going back to get the masks I missed this far first though.

i went back after beating it to get the masks, then replayed it from the beginning for the puzzle pieces.

have like 7 more levels to A+. Pretty much if you can stick with only using the drill, you'll A+ any level
