Is Max Payne 3 actually any good?

It's £5 at Tesco Direct! Five pounds!

Also Tesco Direct are doing a 500 extra Clubcard points on Pre-orders over £35 at the moment (which equates to at least £5 in real monies).

Definitely worth it, it's a great little story and definitely fun for at least one playthrough.

Well guess you can't go wrong with a fiver.

Hmmm... just been on thehut to cancel an order I made a bit ago, when I got 10% off pre-orders there. Problem is they seemed to have changed policy, so if you have multiple orders using the discount, you can no longer cancel part of the order. Now if you cancel you lose your 10% off on everything.

Just a warning/heads up to folks.

So did you go through with the cancellation and lose your 10% discount?

Anyone on here that had ordered the game and never received it? Or did anyone get one of the (116-97=) 19 copies, even though they had never ordered the game? :-)

Maybe that error also caused all the actual games from all the Blazblue Limited Editions to get removed and sent out to someone else? :P

What would be the lowest price now for Theaterhythm Final Fantasy in Yurop, Cheap Arse GAF ? Amazon UK lists it at 39.99£ which is rather pricy, especially compared to Amazon US which has it for 29.99$.

I must have a spare sealed copy laying around (I cannot confirm it ATM). PM me if you are still interested.

That person will ofcourse only get offered a £5 voucher for his 116 cartridges, because it's only "half a product".

I wonder if you actually have to return the items (from a legal perspective). If you don't The Hut will likely blacklist you. But whatever you miss in discounts compared to other sites, those 96 spare games will likely make up for if you can sell them.

In the UK at least if you are sent something you didn't order, it is yours to keep as it is unsolicited.

Going by the email the guy is located in Germany (or Austria or Switzerland or...). But I guess it will be similar there.

I was picturing that poor mail man, having to put 10s of envelopes for several days in the guy's mail box...surely he hasn't delivered all 97 of them on the same day. :-)

Yeah, I imagine there's an EU statute on it somewhere. Just done a little bit of reading and if it's a duplicate item of something you've ordered it might not be as clear cut, but generally, they send it to you and you haven't ordered it, it's yours.

Does the 1% on that cover equate to it's average review score?

Hah, I was thinking the same thing.

I bought it during the Microsoft Super Sale for 400 MSP. Terrible game. At least the animations are good.

Cheap Arse GAFers will like this:

That's awesome.

Anyone have any idea what NSMB2 on 3DS is worth on trade in at game etc? Considering two £140 3DSXLs from amazon with free NSMB2 but don't need the game so would trade it in to bring the net cost down.

Nice (thanks Nintendo for never dropping your first party prices). Using the game credit towards my PS4 brings the effective prices down to around £125 which is close enough to the earlier deal I think. Can't see it getting much cheaper anytime soon?

I saw Gears Of War Judgement for 29€ at Media Markt Germany today and I was astonished because the game is still sold for ~40pounds in the UK. When the hell does it get a price drop?! I want the game to break the 15pounds limit.

The Amazon basics one is good and cheap.

It's showing as "currently unavailable" for the red one and "out of stock" for the black one (how can they be out of stock of their own product?). Also looking at the pictures it seems like you can't play on the 3DS XL while it's in the case? Are there any cases that allow that?

I dunno why you'd want that, the system is quite big and weighty as it is and the case would only add to the bulk.

Personally, I just use this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005I2ENUS/

It's for Kindles, but the 3DSXL fits beautifully, and it's super-easy to get it out and start playing without faffing around with clasps and whatnot.

The on demand version is supposed to be on sale next week, i'm hoping for a juicy price drop since it's the only game in the planned sale I'm interested in.
