"objective journalism" nice, but in many cases it is usually just code word for people trying to hide behind the deception that there usually isn't a right or wrong side to every story. It's like the old joke that if there was a story about a rape, CNN would bring on two people, one who argued rape was OK, the other who said rape was wrong, and the journalist job saying "we report, you decide." It's cowardly journalism meant to try to offend nobody whilst being wrong for everybody. Sometimes you do need to take a side.
Up until the DRM-180, there was no such thing as "objective journalism" on the story of PS4 vs. Xbox One. The only legitimate choice was PS4, and it'd be a straight up disservice to your readership to try to pretend otherwise. There weren't two balanced sides to this issue. It is important that every single person knew precisely how egregious the attacks on consumer rights were with Microsoft's approach, and why the only sensible option was to forcibly refuse Microsoft's right to destroy the industry.
