I'm sorry. >.< That stuff is for Dojo #2 thread once this thread hit 20,000 but we are working on the ideas for SSB4 (Wii U and 3DS) OT. We might change the colors and layout to matching up with box art or so.

Were people really that bothered by Sakurai apparently spoiling everything in the Dojo?

My problem is that Sakurai revealed a lot of awesome newcomers for starter roster, and we were expecting way more awesome secret newcomers. When I followed the spoiled thread and I was disappointed that we only get Lucario, Wolf and ROB as secret characters, and most of them were returning characters.

Only because they kept lying to themselves and expected there to be far more.


Most "conservative" rosters kept it at a "reasonable" 50 characters.

I seriously doubt that we will ever get 50 characters. I would pegged 42 characters with several cut characters.

If they do hold back Dojo announcements, I just hope people won't bitch/complain (course they will) when the game finally comes out and they unlock all the characters only to find that their favorites didn't make it in.

I wouldn't bitching about it but I will be sad about it. I will move on quickly and enjoy the game if it's way better than Brawl.

Dark Pit is NOT a stretch at all. It's a Sakurai darling, and he could easily be created as a pseudo-clone a la Fox/Wolf. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. I'm far more surprised that people think Palutena will be playable than I am by the idea of Dark Pit's inclusion.

Dark Pit is NOT a stretch at all. It's a Sakurai darling, and he could easily be created as a pseudo-clone a la Fox/Wolf. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. I'm far more surprised that people think Palutena will be playable than I am by the idea of Dark Pit's inclusion.

If he stays as an alt color, then I hope they also change his voice when you select the color and make him use the silver bow instead of the Palutena bow.

Since the same guy voices both Pits, how hard can it be to get him to repeat all of Pit's lines in Dark Pit's voice?

Dark Pit is the fifth most important character from one video game. The series is named after Palutena in Japan (Mirror of Palutena), she's appeared in all three games, and she's probably the second most prominent character in Uprising.

I'm the kind of guy who doesn't want Ridley or Palutena or King K Rool in Smash Bros, but if one of them is the game or even all of them, I'll live.

But Dark Pit ????? Come on ! What's this game ? Playstation Battle Royale 2 ?

I understand a lot of people like him and that he's not the same character, and that he would have a different moveset, but we don't need a palette swap with a different moveset.

Kid Icarus is a franchise with 3 games. It was totally forgotten until a few years ago. I still think that game doesn't need another character in Smash Bros but if it should, it'd better be Palutena and no one else.

I think having Dark Pit as a costume complete with different voice, win poses, etc ala Nakoruru would be awesome! If there is some kind of alternate Pit, it should be Three Sacred Treasures Pit with original Brawl moveset (heavier and stronger, but slower)
